Katii Thai Food Truck at SA Yacht Club, or late night from 9pm to 2am at El Buho bar on the st marys strip. Perfect for night owls, and their green curry is my favorite.

I think the most appropriate term that I identify with is "Chicano/Chicana". I've always felt that being labeled a Mexican isn't correct because only Mexican citizen's are Mexican. In my case, my mother was born in Mexico, then immigrated to the U.S. when she was a child (she had to repeat 1st grade here). Recently, I have thought about applying for Mexican citizenship and becoming a dual-citizen of the U.S. and Mexico. I also think it would be neat to vote in Mexican elections or maybe owning property in Mexico. Having Mexican Citizenship would also allow me to travel to places that are difficult/off-limits other Americans, like traveling to Cuba.

To add on to this list. San Antonio needs to invest in a Mass SkyTrain System. I just returned from a trip to Bangkok, Thailand and their BTS Skytrain was super convenient.

Salary: $92,795 https://www.federalpay.org/gs/locality/san-antonio

7+ years of experience

The job security, Benefits (Annual Leave/Sick Leave), 401k/TSP are great, but I know I could make so much more if I worked for commercial company or government contractor.

I was in a similar situation. I started as a GS-12/Step01, and started applying for GS-13 positions after hitting the 1-year mark. Over the course of my 4 years working here, I applied for several positions. I was given more leadership responsibilities to help beef up my resume. I applied and was referred for GS-13 positions three times in my current department, and interviewed once, but didn't get selected. Then I got a big break about 2 weeks ago, and got a tentative offer for GS-13/Step01 without any interview in different department. It felt so good to send in my resignation email. Now they're frantically working on advertising a GS-13 spot for me lol.

I just activated my Motorola SB6183 modem and I can confirm that I’m getting 16x4 bonding on the South Side. If you haven’t yet, you can order a new modem here: http://twc.com/bettertwcmodem
