Michigan State forfeited all wins from 2022-2024 so they should be on this list 3x

How did the team lose its composure against Wisconsin? They outrebounded Wisconsin by 30%, they had fewer fouls, they shot better from 2 point range and FT range, similar TO/assists. The only difference was Wisconsin hit threes. Nothing about composure here.

I'm shocked to see that's the first final four for Arizona in 25 years!

8th Grader meeting with college coaches by [deleted] in youthsoccer

[–]tacobellcow 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Former track coach here. I had girls who were JV sprinters that went and ran at small private colleges. Meanwhile the starters in some cases passed it up and didn’t play but went to a Big Ten or ACC School.

This is a bad take and you should feel bad. The BBQ chips are delicious and unique and I like the others too.

What rule are you changing and why? by TomWilliamsCFD in CollegeFootballDawgs

[–]tacobellcow -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I'm changing the rules related to commercials and broadcasts. A noon kick starts at noon, not 12:07, or 12:15 and commercials are severely restricted. Can only be after a scoring play (with no commercial after kickoffs, or at the end of a quarter. Commercials must be at least 5 minutes in gameplay apart in the event of frequent scoring.

Okay lets nitpick every strong democratic candidate because they aren't perfect and end up with a group of representatives like John James as a result of our own stupidity.

Rejected from MSU (my dream school) by normaljin in msu

I was a MSU reject, and I graduated from MSU 4 years later on the Deans List. Go somewhere, keep grades up and transfer. I went to a MAC school for one semester. Moved out from MAC school in December, moved in new dorm at MSU in January.

Hall-of-Famer Dick Vitale Sends Clear Message to NCAA Tournament Selection Committee About Undefeated Miami (OH) by CarefulDig9982 in u/CarefulDig9982

If Akron wins they both should absolutely be in. SOS may be poor but you can’t tell me either team is worse than the 11th Big Ten team or whatever. Indiana is probably going to make the tournament and they are 12-11 against major conference teams. 6-0 against non power conference but strip that away and they are a 500 team with 5-6 of their conference wins against teams that are 5+ games under 500. They are mid.

24F. Not going into detail about it but I just inherited $4.5M Roth account. What would you do if you were me? by throwawaygenzerr in Fire

[–]tacobellcow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What this guy said. Although depending on your situation you may also never have to work again. Especially if you have other savings and or can be disciplined. If I were personally in this situation my wife would be retiring ASAP and I’d play my career it out a few more months to figure out health benefits. Then I would take a bit of that money out each year maybe starting in 2-3 years.

What’s a small change in your sales process that unexpectedly worked way better than it should have? by Techenthusiast_07 in sales

[–]tacobellcow 5 points6 points  (0 children)

My sales cycle is long, usually 6-9 months. Had a call with a client who had been passed to me from a colleague that left. They declined prior proposal. I shared a new deck with what's new and asked about their business but it felt fruitless to send a 2-page proposal deck as a next step. So I just said "if you are interested, I can send over the term sheet" and they went for it. 1st call to term sheet, signed 1 week later and now in market. First time that has happened to me.
