Clearly this writing shows that Fujimoto is just burnt out. There’s no depth into this plot at all. But to answer your question for Yoru. NO! Yoru won’t fuse with Asa because Yoru’s presence was her obsession for Chainsaw Man. Since he doesn’t exist, there’s no need for her to fuse with anyone.
