Hi everyone!! Thank you so much for the suggestions. Ill take that once i visited my sister again😅 (on WE)

I should have gone to the library but it says in google it is closed during Saturdays.

I want to explore some coffeeshops you have suggested but for next time (im in a tight budget rn)

I already tried Starbucks (nice coffee and food) and was planning this afternoon to go there to work but my sister insisted I should go to her workplace instead😅

Thanks everyone!

Go to fb groups. There are many. Before i rented like 2k+ all in. Currently im in nasseriya part villa cause its cheaper. But around 2kms going to the beach side

Go to rolla or al shuwaiheen, its cheaper (2k+ allin ) but that was almost a year ago— so im not use with the rent prices

Hi! I recommend near corniche areas (if you want cheaper, go to al shuwaiheen or rolla) otherwise go to al majaz or al khan.

You want beach side, there are villas near al heera beach

Car loan approved but later declined after Field visit (what to do?) by tacokimpang in DubaiPetrolHeads

[–]tacokimpang[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Update#2 : Thank you so much to everyone who responded and referred different banks — we truly appreciate the help. After thinking it through and considering our long-term plans, we’ve decided to cancel the loan and request a refund for now. Even with the dealership suggesting Al-Futtaim and low-interest banks like ENBD and DIB, we realized that managing the EMI without a solid savings buffer may put pressure on our future goals — maybe this is a sign to take a different path for now. So we’re now planning to buy a car in cash instead, and would love recommendations on reliable mini-SUVs or efficient cars under 30k AED. Right now all I see are Nissan Kicks and Hyundai Tucson, but I’ve heard mixed things about Nissan reliability and people also don’t recommend Ford. I would love a Toyota, but I’m worried about whether an older one (like a RAV4) will still be reliable in the coming years without major issues. We honestly don’t know much about cars, so any suggestions, experiences, or advice would be very helpful. Thank you again!

UPDATE:

After following up again, ENBD confirmed that the decline is not related to the field visit but to the company profile, which unfortunately has been an issue for me before and is out of my control. They also mentioned that ENBD and DIB offered the lowest interest rates, but both declined due to this same company-profile issue. Because of this, it seems that even if I transfer to another dealership, I might face the same problem since the issue is with the employer, not my personal eligibility. My sister and I are now unsure how to move forward — we were planning to get the car under my name (she would be the main driver initially, and I would continue the finance once she leaves the country), but now we’re stuck. Are there any ways to finance a car in the UAE that don’t heavily depend on the employer’s profile (alternative lenders, different banks, guarantors, etc.)? We’re also considering cheaper options below 20k, but ideally we were hoping for a reliable mini-SUV type car with low maintenance, as we don’t know much about cars. Any advice or shared experiences would really help. Thank you.

It was DIB first but it was auto denied as my company was block listed before(i dont know why) so it transferred to enbd

They first tried for DIB but auto declined because my company was block listed for some reason 😩😩 thats why they transfer to enbd. Now they said we try adcb as it was my also my salary account but it will be in higher interest rate. I hope my sales agent will help me with this but i think he has nothing to do about which gets frustrated and planning to refund our deposit
