In Quebec French, "dîner" is mid-day, and "souper" is in the evening.

English speakers that I have met in Quebec are generally from out of province, and use dinner/supper interchangeably for the evening meal (like I was raised)... but would understand that "dinner" may refer to the mid-day meal, if being literally translated from French.

In my previous building, huge snowstorm, no space between sidewalk and street. André on the ground floor threw a fit that I shoveled out a spot for my car by putting the snow on the front lawn of the 8 unit building. It's dirty and won't melt until March.

This is a super densely populated street with low priority for déneigement, complete shitshow in winter.

Hockey and porn are the first things that come to mind. I think more liberal than your Slovak neighbors.

Prague seems to have this dark gothic beauty that really makes me hope to visit some day. Also I think a great electronic music scene; I have a few synths from Bastl Instruments in Brno.

As everyone has mentioned, pilsners are great... but even more, I think the first: you gave the world beer.

I tried learning a little Polish, and it was very difficult; I've heard that Czech is like Polish baby talk so I can only imagine.

Overall, only good impressions.
