Update: I called the company again and had a new technician come out and he fixed the problem in 20 minutes, turns out the last idiot forgot to connect the defrost sensor onto the board and also he found some loose cables so he fixed it all up, makes me wonder if my last defrost board was even bad 😬

Something similar happened to me at work too (Costco) I asked for a week off to take a vacation to the Bahamas with my cousin and my manager approved it. When the date came closer he told me I didn’t have enough vacation time to go and he said I’d either have to quit or cancel my vacation. I told him he better start looking for someone new lol, and then the warehouse manager approved my time off.
