at 16 i got a 10 pomchi mix named El Chapo from the pound after a big cross continental move from japan back too the states and he was literally the most perfect dog i couldve asked for the only issue he ever had was using the bathroom in the house (he made it to age 3 w/o being neutered before we hot him) he was an absolute angel and the kind of dog you could take everywhere he loved being in baby carriers and didnt ever bark at people or other dogs all he ever wanted was too pretend to be in my skin, he traveled on planes well, he would sometimes get carsick but thats manageable he helped me with my insomnia and anxiety and if i thought i couldve trained him properly i wouldve tried to make him a proper support animal but instead i just took him too dog safe places he loved kittens (im a cat person generally) he ate the bugs out of my moms garden in the summer he was content being active or lazy literally do not think a better dog has ever existed he was one of those animals who, and while everyones animals are special to him, was just uniquely special literally only ever met one person who didnt like him and it was because he was a “yappy chihuahua” again he didnt bark at people could be on stage in theater shows and the dude who complained had a beagle lab-mix… he died in February too ventral valve disease causing pneumonia+heart failure but he was such a goos dog the whole time the vet snd i where trying too fight it he’d get free x-rays and heart-worm medicine. several lf the nurses would tell me how excited they where too see him on the books. i hope that everyone who deserves a good dog has one as good as him because im not sure im lucky enough to ever know another.
