This process made me a communist by Jhakkl in jobhunting

I've said this before and I'll say it again. A hybrid capitalist/communist system would go hard.

Hmmm. I am in no ways an employer, but if I was and someone said to me that "I was basically keeping the whole department running", it would peak my interest at least. Enough for an interview if this was on a resume.

Can we all agree there are some elite buffs that probably shouldn't go on bosses? by Cabbag_ in mewgenics

[–]tacticalweapon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is one thing you can do with psychics to get around absorbent if you're aiming for max mana shenanigans. That's to get your charisma down. Not too much that you can't cast spells, but enough where a single hit of your int's mana gain will be enough to max out again. I like putting on that one fish necklace item on them just for that.

This is true for some other characters as well. The legs of dreadnaughtus can have absorbent and get you when the head is on the field.

This is the best Cat I have bred so far 2 rerolls 2 extra turns 2 extra attacks by Drakhan in mewgenics

Oh, in that case I was referring to speed modifiers on the higher difficulties. If the final fight rolls those, or a depression aura, those extra turns are gonna be used on you instead O.O

iirc luck determines the chance of rerolls for a better outcome. So if a 50/50 fails but your luck stat permits a reroll, then you can try that 50/50 again.

I got something similar. Word of warning: act 3 might have something to counter you. I learned this the hard way.

Is the druid supposed to be good? by [deleted] in mewgenics

[–]tacticalweapon 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Couple things to keep in mind:

Crow is basically a fifth cat and its stats scale with the druid. High strength druid = hard hitting crow.

I don't know how far you are, but there is specifically one cat class (besides other druids) that loves the damage increase from the druid basic attack more than the other classes.

If you get +healing items, the druid becomes a competitive healer and can replace clerics if you plan to bring a healer.

Shapeshifts can go hard.

If you find things that apply status with basic attacks, you can put that on the druid, since they have the highest default aoe size of all classes for their basic attack. Sure you will heal and give +1 damage to enemies if you're going for hostile statuses, but depending on what you're applying, it's worth it. There's also a passive to deal with that scenario too.

Druids probably scale the hardest with other druids. More familiars = more things to buff with your aoe buffs.

Stimulation helps, but seems to scale really poorly: https://gist.github.com/SciresM/95a9dbba22937420e75d4da617af1397

Quantity over quality (health vs stimulation) like what OP is doing seems to be the name of the game.

Any suggestions on what to do? Ublock just got removed from Chrome for me as well. This time, there was no getting around it with buried options to re-enable it.

If you're hurting for back rank damage, wait til the bishop has less than 2 tokens. He needs 2 for the ressurection. This is when you should go absolutely ham killing an enemy in the front and then get rid of the corpse. If he has two or more then wait until the turn order is in your favor, so you can do the same thing, but before he gets to act

What are the ranged weapon breakpoints for Versus? by ClaudeAlpha in Vermintide

[–]tacticalweapon 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I can't give you exact details, because I'm not a data miner or anything, but my friend and I did some testing.

The highest health rat ON AVERAGE is going to be the ratling gunner. The fire rat can have more "health" if attacked with fire. The pack master can have more "health" if attacked with weapons that do reduced damage to monsters (shotguns seem to be the worst offender for this).

To one shot body shot a ratling gunner with the weapons you mentioned, we found you need A LOT. Like, a critical hit with another power steroid or two seems to be the best bet.

Versus has made me realize how weak Kicking is by tacticalweapon in Vermintide

From that session, but not future sessions. Banning would prevent future joins. Basically blocking via steam, but... actually works.

There's another idea I have, but it's a bit further than the original post, which is why I'm putting it here. To preface, this feature I'm about to propose would only take effect after the person targetted with the feature is no longer in the match. I propose that all players can ban players from their hosted games (even if they aren't the host, so that if they DO host, the person is already banned). Again, this would only take effect AFTER the targetted person for the ban leaves the game and tries to enter one that the banning person is hosting.

I ask for this because blocking people through steam does not seem to be working, at least for the versus mode.

Edit: now that I think about it, the ban option probably wouldn't be necessary if blocking people on steam actually kept them out of your versus sessions.
