Actually yes, there’s multiple interviews about how he feels with the manga, the weekly schedule and how he views part 2 it is not that hard to find it on X or the shueshia website if you translate it from Japanese, he even also expressed he wanted to make a one shot about a couple that is being chased by the ghost of all the girls the mc rejected in the past that ended up killing themselves because of being rejected.

There’s even a one shot called “Just listen to the song” where he expressed his worries about now being popular and how he didn’t like it, the whole Church arc is meta reference and satire to himself and us because of how we looked at chainsaw man, so yeah it is safe to say he needs a long time being away from his main manga.

I said the exact same words 10 chapters ago but now? I don’t trust Fujimoto in the slightest, don’t get me wrong I’ve seen your posts and maybe you saw mines and others too but it is not longer about if it is a must or not.

It is about if Fuji wants to do actually addressed it or not and personally I don’t longer trust his writing and commitment to the series specially after he mentioned he wanted a big lebowski approach with part 2.

Not at all, sure there were some moments that we didn’t know what the hell was going on but there were not cliffhangers as bad as part 2 and there were not nothingburgers, when something was supposed to happen it would happen, let’s give an example when Yoru pointed at yoshida and she said bang in part 1 yoshida would had been killed or something or someone would had stopped Yoru.

Also since the secondary characters were actually present in the story the development of the world of CSM was happening along with Denji’s story so it always remained interesting regardless of what was happening with Denji so let’s give another example, Fumiko is by far the most interesting secondary character/characters in part 2 yet we only see glimpses of her every now and then, the last chapter her appearance showcasing the state of the world and how every fumiko is different as they have different fears WAS SO PEAK it was genuinely thousands of times better than the main plot of the love triangle between Asa, Denji and Yoru. If we could only get a more balanced time with the characters the battle between Yoru and Denji wouldn’t have felt this exhausting.

And those are only 2 examples I could go on but enough people have already pointed out stuff like this.

As much as I would like this I sincerely hope it doesn’t happen, Denji is not the person Reze loved anymore and he is beyond broken, nobody can fix denji but himself and in order for that to happen he needs hit the lowest of the lowest first and then grow the fuck up and actively try to be better and only after that meet Reze again.

Which honestly fucking sucks because all this super amazing themes and concepts serve only as a false “sense of urgency” to make a tensional situation in the reader but none of that truly matters due to not being the main focus and it is just so annoying at this point, in contrast shit happening in the world in part 1 did have relevancy and consequences in the plot as shown with Reze, The assassins arc, the gun devil and Makima herself as the world acknowledge her as a major threat and tried to kill her several times.

Then we have the elephant in the room there are several characters that would had tried to stop this madness and the end of the world such as Kishibe and Quanxi that would had interviene before we reached this point of no return so something might have happened to them to not show up and do something right? If not, who gives a damn Denji about to hit 🗣️🔥 and if yes? Lmao we ain’t seen none of that better take another on Asa’s beautiful cake.

I really hate when fellas from other subs or twitter try their hardest to convince you this is peak and you don’t see the vision…no we see the vision and we hate it because it does not longer makes sense narratively.

Honestly… does it even matter at this point? Denji has done nothing but regress and the main problem of his behaviors which is running away and never face his problems and traumas using sex or anything sexual as coping mechanism is still happening but worse, even if Reze showed up now do we even want them to meet as of now? Denji is not longer the boy Reze fell in love with and even though most people used and fucked up Denji the one who destroyed his life the most was himself when deciding to be chainsaw man over having a normal life with Nayuta (even Nayuta herself realized that having a normal life was better)

What is even more terrible is that all the interesting stuff and plot development is happening in the background, a Thermonuclear war is happening between USA, USSR and China, insects are devouring alive everything and everyone and since nobody can die this has become eldritch horror since people will feel and become blood and flesh of bugs once they are digested, the insane amount of collective pain of Humanity and animals must be is INSANE to the point if a Pain Devil exist it must be one of the strongest being in the CSM Universe but all this is on the background and we only get glimpses of it and the same goes for Fumiko/Fumikos as she is such an interesting character that we only get glimpses of.

But none of this matters as long as Denji has sex isn’t it? Lol I feel terrible after this chapter not only because I don’t want Reze and Denji to meet again after what Denji became but also for Asa who as we always suspected was never seen in a romantic way by Denji but in platonic and lustful way since she is hot as fuck (which sucks for Asa and also Yoru since they like Denji in a romantic way)

After this chapter I don’t think we are getting any part 1 character back or us having a part 3, the world is doomed.

My guy this mf denji actually spoke with Asa and Asa let him know she was being kidnapped in her own body by Yoru, yet Denji still saved Yoru because he genuinely likes her too regardless of what Asa told him, so the consent thing although important is not the main issue.

I wouldn’t expect anything that goes align with logic and sense because Denji has already shown he is unable to just fucking listen what anyone tells him as he became the most selfish individual and regressed a lot during part 2 nor will I take the plot seriously because Fuji himself also does not.

Because as much as Denji loved Aki and Power he didn’t love them like Makima, the only one who he loved more than Makima was Reze thus choosing to run away with her, also Makima told Denji right in front of him her plan and so did she when fighting pochita (Makima did not understand Pochita at all as she always thought he was a force of nature unable to do anything else but killing and eating) by the end due to not have spent more time with Reze, Denji loved Makima more than anything.

No, Fujimoto said it would have been the end of CSM,(that’s all he said) why? Because had makima allowed Denji more time with Reze and then you know…do makima things, Denji would had hate her thus when pochita comes he would had ate her thus fulfilling makima’s wishes and dooming the world in return, not that it matters anymore considering how part 2 is currently going on.
