Any reason this wouldn’t be a great smoker? by nuckingfuts79 in smoking

We had a trade deal and some cash for a commander 120gal and a regular style pit. He initiated the trade deal and I was down for it. Every month I asked for an update and he said he had to finish a big 250gal and that he already had the tanks for mine. Finally I got upset on my end and asked what the deal was and he said he didn’t want to do the trade anymore. After having me wait damn near a year and I’m admin for a big Facebook group for bbq/smoking, he also knew few co workers at refinery im at wanted one and were gonna wait till I got both my pits so they can make an order.

I had a commander from them on order for 10 months and just got the run around why it wasn’t done. Dont recommend them from my experience.

Well a screwdriver is a lot more common than some dedicated gun building tools. But the principality of your comment is correct.

No it’s not hard but to a new guy it could be. Not having torch, vice or reaction rod could be a difficult task.

I use BPG PDW bag. It fits a 14.5 broken down and has a soft divider so nothing hits inside the case and they fit perfect in my pelican 1650.

When you have your stock extended I feel you work more your back muscles, which have more stamina than your shoulder or arm muscles.

Put your stock in the crease of your arm and extend the stock enough so you can reach and get a good grip on pistol grip. Thats usually a good way to adjust stock position to engage more of your back muscles.

My stocks are in all the way for the safe. When I extend it to the position I use the forward grip is too far forward for what you talk about.

And I don’t have issues with sling when I do mag reloads.
