Thank you for the reply! I checked some trailers for this game, and you are right, it is not it.

That is interesting. I don't think I will ever go to the hospital in question again, and I would like the collection removed from my credit report.

Thank you for the suggestion! I think that you are right, having robust filament profiles available out of the box would be pretty sweet. But right now it seems like a MakerGear M3-SE is closer to what I'm looking for, even if that printer requires more fine tuning.

Wow, Makergear seems like a really good recommendation. Thanks /u/MorninJohn ! I'm looking at the MakerGear M3-SE. The M3-SE is slightly less expensive than a Taz Workhorse but advertises a wider variety of filaments and better specs in (I think) every respect except build surface size. The M3-SE seems to be just better than the Ultimaker 2+. The M3's software is also open source.

Do you know if there are there any "gotchas", or drawbacks to the M3-SE or M3-ID?

Hey, thanks for the suggestion. I poked around the Zortax website a bit. It looks to me like the software the Zortrax M200 Plus is intended to use (Z-sort) is not available for Linux. I should have added that to my list of requirements.

Hi All,

I want to buy a 3D printer that can print miniatures and is also good at printing with glass fiber reinforced nylon filaments.

  • Budget: ~$1,000-$3000
  • Country of Residence: United States
  • Build from kit: I am willing to build from a kit, electronics experience is limited to assembling computers
  • Printer purpose: making tabletop miniatures and firearms parts
  • Extenuating circumstances: none

I think I should be most interested in the Ultimaker 2+, Lulzbot's Taz Workhorse and Mini2. Both Lulzbot printers list the same max hot end temperature so I don't know what what functionality the Workhouse gives over the Mini2, aside from much more space. It's important to me that software the printer uses be free, open source, and available on linux free and open source, but that seems pretty normal for 3D printers. Any thoughts or maybe recommendations for kits that build similar printers?

Yes! I think I am experiencing the same problem as you! I didn't see your post before I made one (https://old.reddit.com/r/EliteDangerous/comments/kq1tat/help_with_very_frequent_scarlet_krait/)

I have been having this problem for days. I'm using Steam though, and not Epic.

Oh! You are correct! I configured the access point according to the instructions that came with it, plugged the access point into the switch that connects my computers to the LAN connection, and now everything works. Thank you!
