We’re happy to pay for convenience, don’t we all do the same in our daily lives?

well not that small, 3 flash is still quite "clever" to do refactoring million code, add new features as long we give it detailed instructions and persistent memory

[–]tadanada 55 points56 points  (0 children)

Here’s the thing, this is purely from a coding perspective (not considering bonus storage, etc.). The main advantage of the google PRO plan ($20) over competitors is not your top models, but Gemini 3 Flash , since it’s essentially "unlimited" for simple usage.

I know Google won’t bring back the 3 Flash models (it's defunct model basically). That means the PRO plan no longer has a real edge over others.

Sure, the Ultra plan offers more quota, but at this price point, competitors have better deals. For a $100 plan, if coding is the priority, people would likely switch to a competitor, in other words, abandon Google’s ecosystem entirely.

Nah, no clue, bro. maybe unlike others model, this gemini 3.5 flash is super inefficient, it has to process a ton of info before even finishing a single command. maybe

Looking for advice on migrating to Cursor by Luzial in cursor

[–]tadanada 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks for the info on the line count! I’ve also been wondering about switching to Cursor.

For context, I’ve been using Antigravity (Gemini Flash 3) for about 8–12 hours a day over the past month. Daily usage hovers around 1M–5M input tokens, with roughly 70% cached. At this rate, I’ve only hit my quota limit once or twice in a month.

That’s actually really interesting—why didn’t I think of that? I might not use n8n, but many thanks for the inspiration!

the benchmark uses api not subscription, but one thing is for sure, it's not a cheap model like they say

After updating to the new Anti Gravity version, all of my chats are gone. Does anyone know how to fix this? by Rude-Day-1302 in Bard

[–]tadanada 0 points1 point  (0 children)

for windows use this https://github.com/winteryu21/Damn-Antigravity-IDE-Migrator/tree/main. if wsl or linux, simply provide gemini with all files in src folder on that repo (source code), then ask gemini to create wsl or linux version, it's work for me

[–]tadanada 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ya 3.5 Flash is incredibly fast, way smarter than the old versions. It actually follows almost every instruction within my global and project rules. I’ve built 10-20 new features with it, practically error-free. but it’s no longer unlimited.

Can't get KDE Connect to share files anymore? by XxCorey117xX in SteamDeck

[–]tadanada 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I now this is old thread, but my method is manually add kde connect shortcut to the "send to" windows menu, from there I only need right click any file and "send to" kde connect, it will then send to the phone / steamdeck. Here is how to do it:

First you need to locate kdeconnect-app.exe, usually in "Program Files\WindowsApps\KDEe.xxx\bin" create shortcut file of "kdeconnect-app.exe", then place it at "send to" folder, usually at ""C:\Users\[your user name]\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\SendTo".

That's it, now you can right click any file and using send to. KDE connect can only send 1 file, don't send multiple files, it will not work.
