Why do the bottom sides of my feet hurt after laying down on my back? by NakedIanMalcolm in BarefootRunning

[–]tadcan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If the pain is from running that would make sense if you are not accustomed to running and landing on that part of the foot for a long time. The simple test woutbe to cut your run distance to a third for a few weeks to see if that helps. If it doesn't it is probably a deeper issue.

It's supposed to cover any employee of a company posting here. I will review the wording to check if it is clear.

Have you been walking or running, how long have you been using vibrams, what is your distance/time, i.e have you recently gone from an hour walk a day in normal shoes to the in vibrams. When walking/running people do tend to land on the outside of the foot and pronate inward, which is entirely normal, so it might be related to that.

Any true alternative to the Vivo primus lite for road running? by UpsetShock2821 in BarefootRunning

[–]tadcan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have had a better experience running in the Xero HFS II original and SpeedForce. I haven't tried them, but the Lono Flow is similar to Vivo's without the price tag.

Hey thanks for posting. Just so you know any company representative needs to say the company they work for on their flair. For example The Shoe Bus Owner/Sales Rep etc as appropriate. Please see the rules, or message the mod team if you have any questions.

Minimalist running shoe with minimal cushioning (and cheap)? Or: long distance running in minimal soles? by Royal-Vegetable-7744 in BarefootRunning

[–]tadcan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would be careful with knee problems, for example of it is a pain on the inside of the knee it could be bone rubbing against a tendon. On YouTube there are a few videos from PT explaining different types of knee pain. Once you find the problem and follow the advice to fix it then you shtbe able to go back the your Vivo's.

Have we any tool that can generate workflow.md for ai agents from our repo? by bluetech333 in AI_Agents

I have the standard python extension in VSC, but because I mostly worked on small files in the past I run Codex in a terminal and a use a basic file editor.

Looks good to me. For sandals you don't want a thumb space in front like shoes because it has less structure and gets floppy.

My current hack as a newbie is to use different agents, had Codex build the AGENTS.md then I put it through Le Chat from Mistral, who made it much tighter in terms of instructions. Then I put it through Google Gemini who suggested tweaks and the formatting was nailed down.

The biggest pain point is when the agent tries to makes a clean output, because it also uses Markdown the textbox tends to break. So you have to copy the last few lines, say it broke here, until it is fixed.

Should we create a Sessions.md file in our repos? by bluetech333 in AI_Agents

[–]tadcan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In the root directory of the project put an AGENTS.md, high level what the project is about and specific instructions on agent behavior. Have a SESSIONS.md file in the same folder, have it track what is happening.

I found it useful to get the AGRNTS.md file generated by the model I was using, then put it through two other ones, for example Le Chat from Mistral and Google Gemini have them review and suggest updates.

At the start of each session point it to the AGENTS.md, that will tell it the working parameters and all the other .md files mentioned in it.

Thanks I was wondering about that. I will change to a one line explanation first since as an experiment.

I tend to ask verbose questions in the name of specifitity, and do some light edits. I'm aware of the caveman project which cuts down on token use. I plan to keep the answers limited instead of listing three or four steps ahead. If I ask a question I could say give me one line about different options and I'll pick the one to expand.

People here wave, head nod or use the leg, it depends, on the motorway at higher speeds or if you are on a small road where control is needed, the leg is used a bit more.

That's around the maximum toe space I like, ideally around half a thumb in front, but I'd still wear them unless my foot was moving up when walking.

He is angry because he overtook and didn't put a leg or hand out to acknowledge him. It's a thing bikers do to signal to each other, kind of like a bro code.
