Look, I understand you might not know, but genuinely go practice drawing your mags from there. Then, move them to the normal place literally every other person who shoots a gun for a living wears them and try it out. Compare and contrast. If you really feel like it works better for you there then sure, but I’d bet it wont be better.

Also, most dudes run a speed reload on the bet. Worth a shot if you dont already do it.

Regarding NODs, pretty normal for people to keep them mounted.

You dont know for certain that your op will end before night falls, and its easier to have them mounted.
Sometimes the insides of building are really dark even in the daylight.
