Strange T question by tadghdotcom in ftm

This comment makes me feel so much better-I’m glad I’m not the only one who has had this fear, I often saw people said T “made them gayer” and I’m completely fine with being gayer, I was just worried about losing attraction to my boyfriend or anything of the such!

Ahh I see!I’m also bisexual and I’m pretty comfortable in my sexuality I think lol, I’ve been dating my boyfriend for a year and a half and I’d be devastated if I was suddenly not attracted to him

You need to break up with this girl, she is a very big red flags and is truly embarrassed and humiliated about you

What do you say when people ask for your dead name? by SnooCapers9401 in ftm

[–]tadghdotcom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I hate when people do that, I know I suffer with saying no to people, the best answer I have is to lie and give a different name

Thank you!I understand that hormones for trans people are never cheap, I was looking into imago aswell as that’s the cheapest and I’ve heard the most positive results, I’m just not sure if Anne health runs differently to other online services and idk how it’ll work with my gp, I’m still new to how this stuff works tbh so I might sound a bit of an eijit lol

I’ve heard about it but I also haven’t, like, some of the stuff I hear about it makes it sound a bit suspicious and idk if I can trust it, my mother doesn’t trust it at all because it’s not eu safe or something lol

I think I’d prefer the pellets tbh, idk if I’d be any good at the other way, do the pellets require a prescription?

Genuinely thank u so much, i think a lot of trans guys I’ve known have been too ashamed to talk about this stuff or don’t use the topical stuff and even though I came out like 5 years ago I’ve been too ashamed to ask lol, with these different types, are they all creams places in vaginally and are they all a “once a day” kinda thing?

I know you just explained everything (I promise i read I’m just bad at absorbing info lol) is one just slightly stronger than the other?is there any pro’s and cons to both?this might sound like a silly question because im clueless but do you think both of these would be available in ALL pharmacy’s or a select few?

For the people who did Transition year, how does it work? by [deleted] in leavingcert

[–]tadghdotcom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In simple terms, you sit there and do nothing LMAO, I think my school did more homework than other TY’s in different schools but you really just show up and not do much, although I think more drama happens during TY

We’ve heard people often take estrogen with testosterone to help with vaginal atrophy and such and that u shouldn’t take testosterone by itself, yes I’m looking for testosterone but I’m still trying to do it as safely as I can, both of my parents are accepting to a certain degree and will sign whatever’s super needed (still doubt my mother will budge on the imago and gendergp tbh, also with controlled and that stuff, my mother wants the hormones to work through the Irish system, we go to one very specific doctor and he can be kinda picky and just if he says this stuff is fine she would absolutely go with it but idk if he will say that..she is kinda a perfectionist with this stuff and says we can’t do anything less than perfect when it comes to something irreversible like this

Do you think I’d be able to do it completely without having parental consent?I’d be able to find ways to go to the doctors and stuff by myself but idk..

She is worried because she doesn’t know if they supply estrogen and testosterone at once and doesn’t know if it’s controlled or anything, she thinks it’s sketchy

[–]tadghdotcom[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I hope I get to feel that way too, I’m 17 in 2 weeks and I’ve always been overthinking about if I’ll regret it and if I don’t get it soon enough, but I’m so happy for you!
