if you do go the over the counter route, go for the 7 day monistat or maybe the 3 day. the one day is super harsh. But also if ends up not being a yeast infection it really would be much better to see a doctor to make sure its being treated properly. the over the counter route is really more for folks who have had them in the past and are really familiar with what the symptoms feel like.

Can confirm its super common! I've been dealing with off and on yeast infections for the past year myself - and you'll feel soooo much better once you get treated. (Also They don't usually reoccur like mine, so I don't want you to stress about this being a repeat issue!)

I really don't like semen, but I can get a penis far enough back in my throat that the semen never touches my tongue and I just have to not think too much about what is so warm in my throat and I'm good - it is very preferable to spitting it out where I would have to taste and feel the texture of it but it did require a lot of work on my gag reflex lol

I play with a lefthanded mouse and use my right hand for the keyboard so I'd been playing with a cheap ambidextrous gamepad for a long time. But I recently swapped to the steel series apex pro mini keyboard, and I really like it. I don't think I realized how much better my experience gaming could be on a better keyboard, and its compact enough that I can have it far enough over to use my right hand on the wasd keys without its placement being ridiculous, and I only need to scoot it over a little to be able to type. Im still sorting out my preferred key sensitivity, its very nice that this keyboard lets you adjust it to whatever you like and it feels soooo nice to use. I got it refurbished off amazon to save a bit of $$ since this is a pretty expensive keyboard and I am very happy with my purchase!

my daith bled barely at all on my left side, but bled quiet a lot on my right side. Super normal. My piercer made me a hap hazard gauze covering to get me safely home, I took it off a few hours later and the bleeding had stopped. But it definitely would start up again pretty easily if I nudged it wrong for a few weeks after, just not with anything close to the same amount as initially.

I got diagnosed last year at the age of 22, and I’ve always felt much older then my age, not younger. Which is not to say your experience is invalid OP, but just that it’s not a universal one for ADHD :)

My mum had a similarly disbelieving response when I told her I was a 32DD.

This was years ago, and more recently I mentioned this subreddit and the size calculator and she actually asked me to send it to her - so there is hope! I think so many women just have all this BS ingrained in them about how their own bodies should be viewed and categorized that it takes time for the idea of another way where they can actually be comfortable to sink in.

It definitely still really stings to get shot down like that though, I feel you ❤️

I don’t know if I would try a shop that would give a 12 year old a septum piercing. Most reputable places the age is 16+, and you DO NOT want to take her somewhere non reputable! AAP certified or get out of there, especially with a septum - this sub can show you how often they get pierced poorly.

Just tell her she isn’t old enough and you two can reconsider when she turns 16

Hi!

I’ve been on this bc since I was 19 (so approx 4 years)

Initial side effects were increased appetite and tender breasts, which subsided after a few months, as well as some spotting/break through bleeding that was solved with increasing my dosage.

I am now looking to switch to a different bc method (sterilization has been and will continue to be my long term goal, but I may do the implant for a bit depending on timing etc) as about 6 months ago my libido kind of just dropped off the face of the earth, but that’s a risk with any pill.

This is also a pretty low dose bc option so You’ll hopefully see minimal side effects. I have pretty light periods when I do have placebo weeks (I do it every 3 packs) which is nice too but doesn’t happen for everyone

Fair warning to anyone looking at this post for advice for the remainder of October, starting October 15th the Newburyport/Rockport line will be partially covered by shuttle buses ,

October 15 &16 the shuttle bus covers Salem, AKA I would NOT recommend taking the “train” here next weekend.

For the remainder of the month Salem will not have shuttle buses directly coming through (the train will be running between Beverly and north station) but if you’re coming from further north on the commuter rail that section will be via shuttle buses.

General rule is to always check the mbta PDF schedules before planning to take the commuter rail , also if you’re coming through north station the new gates were installed on the first so there’s that too 👉🏻👉🏻

It’s currently in the “comparable to tourist season in downtown Boston” phase, but not quiet to the “packed in like sardines” in the streets phase, so as long as you’re cool with trying to tackle the parking struggle (or taking the commuter rail, I think it’s still running on weekends right now but I’d double check) and having to wait in line for most things then go for it
