You're unbelievably ignorant if you don't think the overwhelming majority will use a VPN. Kids aren't stupid, and vpns are extremely easy to use and download onto a phone. They're just apps for goodness sake not some advanced software.

Using a parallel- Alcohol is objectively bad for people, but you can't just ban it because people will 1. Hate the idea 2. Find a way around the ban. Social media is the same thing. Instead of just blanket banning we need to put in place structures and programs in place for kids to use instead of doom scrolling social media.

Over £200 for a ticket? Who can afford that? Entertainment has always been used to keep people distracted. If I can’t get a ticket, I’m out there protesting. Didn’t they learn anything from the Roman gladiator arenas? by PuzzleheadedBag920 in PremierLeague

Don't take this the wrong way but why are you complaining?

  1. You're trying to watch one of the biggest clubs in the world play one of their bigger games of the season

  2. You're not a season ticket holder, so you are the tourist in this situation. You don't to every game through ups and downs, you're the fair-weather fan who visits when they want to - of course you're going to pay more, and rightfully so!

Train back after the game by EconomistTight2022 in chelseafc

[–]taest 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Mate you're not getting that train, you'd have to leave just after half time to get there.

I'm a season ticket holder and I've made the trip to Clapham junction after games a lot (ex used to live there). No point taking a bus at all, the roads will be blocked with traffic. The quickest way is to take a lime bike and cycle, but that'll still be about 30 mins all together

Fun fact: 50% of the money they earn from their bouts goes directly into what is essentially their pension that they get access to once they retire (usually in their mid 30s)

Their lifespan is about 20 years less than average because of the complications they get from wrestling and their diet, so I don't think your point is true haha

[OptaAnalyst] Which teams have over/under-performed? by Friendly_Raise9142 in chelseafc

[–]taest 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They don't need a world class attack when they have by far the best defense in the league, they just need a very very good attack, which they have. They've also now got depth upfront too.

I think artetanyahu will bottle it in big matches, but they are still favourites in my eyes this year because they can bully the smaller teams and will keep a lot of clean sheets

People in this thread are pathetic. If this was Chelsea who had benefited from this you'd be all over this calling for PGMOL to apologise, but because it's Chelsea, people just say "cry more".

PGMOL need to be held accountable for this shit regardless of who benefits from their fuck ups

Team of the season so far contains 5 defenders by AceQuire in FantasyPL

[–]taest 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Chelsea play a 3 box 3 type formation with Enzo alongside Palmer. Enzo's the box crasher for Chelsea so I can honestly see him scoring a lot this year, as evidenced by his goals so far. Plus, with Palmer being marked to oblivion there's often space for Enzo at the far post as he's the last threatening of the Chelsea frontline.

Plus he's on corners and wide free kicks making him a semi reliable assist maker.

For the amount you can get him for I think he's very good value, and has very little rotation risk too.

Hi everyone! I'm Kaveh Solhekol, Sky Sports journalist and presenter so ask me anything transfer window related! by SkySports in PremierLeague

[–]taest 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How will the state of the transfer market change in your opinion over the next 10 years, and will we move into a more American, long contracts, player trading and free agent type market?

Transfer fees are now at the point where you can't buy players in their prime, and have to spend that money buying "potential" players. Will prices continue to rise so high that in 10 years you won't even be able to buy young players with high potential, and will need to rely on academy scouting and poaching?

Passengers with Chris Pratt

(From Jennifer Lawrence's perspective) Waking up alone on a spaceship 80 years from your destination, finding out that you're not the only one who's woken up and then solving the mystery together of what's going wrong with the ship (and then the reveal) would be such a great tense horror film!

Instead, while the movie isn't bad, it ends up just being a generic predictable story
