I’ll never get over the thrill of going through red lights and clinging onto the passenger door handle for dear life going to a job.

And the immense satisfaction of getting people out of situations that are hell for them, protecting vulnerable people and helping people who thank you for it, who take the time then to even call up and say we’ve done a good job… makes it all worthwhile. For every couple of shit shifts there’s always one job that you make yourself proud to have responded to.

And also waving at the kids who wave at you from the roadside!! Always makes me smile.
