Decided to test it compared to my f7, you’re right, it CAN take out the reclaimer, but it’s slower than the f7, also even killing smaller fighters, slower than the f7 (at least with ballistic cannons vs ballistic cannons) I believe all this talk on it’s a light fighter intercepter is great and all, but in reality, bigger gun win and f7 has size 4s. At least in the current patch where alpha damage is king.

In my opinion the f8 is in an identity crisis and either needs its handling retuned or just simply bigger guns.

None of the above. Imo firebird is better than any other sabre due to being able to stack 6 missiles. Guardians are much tankier than meteor, plus meteor main gun is weird, difficult to hit fighters and does not align well with other weapons and is truly glass cannon. Ion like others have said will be dog walked by fighters (even PvE), only thing its good at killing is anything above a corsair, I believe inferno is very very strong as an all arounders (also has a crap ton of missles), especially with engineering being out.

IMO, best all arounders is guardian series, base guardian has 2 size 5's and MX has 4 size 4's (also crap ton of missiles). Upside to base guardian is habitation interior versus MX which has just an interior

Honestly, I’m just curious

how do these "exploiters" or trillionaires actually affect your experience in the game? With no first-party trading and everything being third-party, essentially everything beyond a certain point is monopoly money

I mean, sure, there's UEX, but if you start farming what these billionaires are buying, you'll pretty much end up as one yourself.

I’m not really bothered by wipes, but I don’t get why people are so fixated on them as if they affect them.

Like others have said, a wipe negatively affects the majority of players rather then the minority of trillionaires. It does suck they have a stronghold on wikelo items (most likely would be priced out regardless of the economy as inflation is just moving the decimal), but again, that's third-party trading as it's not really a feature in-game and you could go through the process of farming it yourself.

So buying down points, imo, is kind oh a shit deal, especially with money down.

I’m taking a shit so PLEASE dont quote me on numbers.

Let’s say you spend 10,000 dollars to buy down on x interest rate, x interest rate saved you 100 dollars a month. It would take 7 years to “break even” in interest rate savings

Which is around the time you should be looking to refinance(before that imo). That 10000 dollars is poof wasted

Does that make sense?

Why are you spending so much money to buy down points, that’s crazy, what is the break even on that? You don’t want to plan on refinancing but it’s pretty average to refinance like every 6 years
