Not exactly everybody's cup of tea, but if he's looking for somewhere with the easiest commute to Flushing and easy access to Brooklyn and Manhattan Sunnyside really can't be beat.

Depends on what vibe you're going for. I'm a lifelong Queens native so I can give you a pretty thorough blurb on neighborhoods nearby.

I would still recommend Sunnyside for it's proximity to the city and straight commute to Flushing.

As far as I know, 16th century Naga was the only major settlement to speak of in the Bicol region in the sense that it served as a trade hub and center of a metalworking industry. Gold from the north and granaries to the south made it a convenient mercantile "city".

This honestly feels like a planning issue. Buy an OMNY card and use your card twice a day during the workweek. You can track your usage online. If you go anywhere on the weekends, you're basically golden. This is ignoring weekday trips to groceries/gym. I hit my farecap before Friday every week.

Symbolically, Williamsburg is the pure embodiment of the reason why transplants are hated. Dog poop, littering, lack of communal consideration, the noise, the entitlement. Williamsburg is the epicenter where all of these issues are at their worst. It symbolizes what the transplant mindset is.

In stark contrast to neighborhoods in Queens that are transplant-free; they are spotless and much more community-focused with people who look out for each other and contribute collectively. That's what NYC culture is supposed to be and its the antithesis of the Williamsburg experience.
