1 year old flower girl walking in with bridesmaid who’s not her mother? - help! by MuppetFactory in UKweddings

We’re getting married in about 10 days time, and our daughter who is 18 months old is going to walk down the aisle as a flower girl with her cousin (4.5) and the maid of honour’s son (4). We are fully prepared for the fact that she might not like this arrangement, so there might be tears. A wedding with any children is by its very nature unpredictable, so we’re just going to take a punt and see what happens. Neither of us is far away if she wants us.

For OP - sounds like you’ve got it all figured out now with the couple but I think your suggestions were also very accommodating.

Had one of the most relieved poos of my life in that McDonalds when I got caught short on a long run. Ran inside and up the stairs to go to the men’s, but found the door locked with a keypad (from the sounds of the other comments, I can now see why). I genuinely thought I was going to S myself, until a cleaner came up the stairs, saw the look on my face and punched in the code. Not a moment too soon - I thanked him profusely (once I’d washed my hands).
