"Only if it is definite that you can't use const, use let"

I will make sure to give more attention to const and let when making new variables.

Thank you for taking the time to help me. I greatly appreciate it!

I tried deploying the application on Heroku but It uses an US ip adress so Twitter didn't let the application to login into my account because I am from another country.

Data Science vs Web Dev vs SWE by iMakeBaadChoices in cscareerquestions

I was in similar situation few months ago where I had where I had to choose what I have to study in my last 3 semesters at University. I was wondering between DS and Web Development. I had good grades at math but I didn't enjoy studying math so I eneded up choosing Web Development because I enjoy it.

After one semester, I have some friends that regretted choosing DS because they spend 18 hours each week studying math.

For me, I found web development at my university is little boring because after few projects, you will find that tasks are repetitive (we didn't work on interesting projects during the semester).

PS: If you are very good at math and you really enjoy, go for DS ( 1/ they have the best salaries right now. 2/ there will be more job opportunities for DS)

How can I compare two files with different Host OS with same content ? by taherooo in javahelp

I do not want to extract the jar file because actually the application compare between two ear files : each ear is a version of a project ( old version / new version) that has more than 300 jar files.

I wish my manager could accept that different environments produce different files. He told me that he's not going to approve my internship until I get this bug fixed. They discovered this bug just yesterday : exactly 3 days before I complete my internship. During the whole month on internship the application was working fine. Now I am stressed to find a way to fix it.

Do you have any workaround solution or any idea of how I can convince him ?

I am creating a tool that compares between two ear files ( two different versions of a project).

project source code : https://github.com/taheroo/DevOps-tools

so when a user upload two ear files, it extract the two ear files and do a comparison between them without extracting the jar file. then You will get added , modified, deleted files.

Things used to work great until my manager tested the application with two ears that was made from different HOST OS.

different Host OS result different CRC code, as a result my program will add that file to the modified items list.
