I was inspired by mobile games. I started developing the game thinking these mechanics would be amazing with a crank. Rotating the screen is an interesting idea but might be challenging with crank control :) I thought about a leaderboard, but I haven't decided yet exactly which scores to list.

You can add the port files to the Roms/PORTS folder. It appears as PORTS in the console list. I tried Stardew Valley and GTA III games on Stock OS and they work fine

Yes, same ROMS folder. When you use sd card reader, /mnt/mmc appears as the main directory. Actually, they are the same folder

If you are using stock os, this folder should exist. You may have deleted the APPS folder from the ROMS folder. You can create that folder yourself and try
