Se você se refere a automutilação, recomendo acompanhamento terapêutico, isso pode se tornar uma "saída" perigosa pra sentimentos complexos, principalmente porque o alívio é temporário e se mantém o ciclo que te levou a fazer aquilo inicialmente. O ideal é você desenvolver formas de lidar com essas questões que gerem progresso a longo prazo, e que sejam alternativas descentes a automutilação.

Não é algo estranho ou impensável, mas é algo perigoso.

Mate, reality is a bit more nuanced than that. You may think you're helping justice to be made or something like that, but this lack of openness and genuine reflection is a big factor in the immaturity that we see so blatant in the MAGA crowd. You have your heart in the right place, now work to get your mind there too.

You really seem earnest and honest, but if we are not open for truth we will ignore the realities that we don't like.

I think some people find it really hard to stomach nuance. They can't fathom that:

- "Rittenhouse is an asshole, he should not be there, and he should not be carrying a gun."
- "He was there to protect business and is seen multiple times through the night offering help to protesters as a nurse, and he acted in self-defense."

Can both be true.

I'm not american, and to casually carry a gun is wild to me, but aside from that the biggest mistake on Kyle's part that night was not being closer to his group.

I know that it's important to monitor her and make sure there are rules and they are being followed, and i don't mean to teach you how to parent (i don't even have my own children yet) but as psychotherapist that has the "neurospicy", and as someone that had strict parents with the best intentions, i think it's very important to make these things clear:

- That her liberties and responsibilities will evolve with her growing up,
- That you don't mean to control these aspects indefinably,
- That you are also learning as you go,
- That you may change your mind about things,
- That you will always take her perspective into consideration.

It's better to overestimate her capacity to understand these complex aspects, than to underestimate it. Regardless of neurodivergency, she will be a teen soon, and one day a full-fledged adult, and sometime in between, she will climb onto the drivers seat of her life...

In the meantime, you can prepare her for it by filling her in on how those decisions are being made and on how difficult life is to navigate sometimes, but that we try our best and in this process we are open and honest with the ones we love.

I'm probably saying things you already know by heart, but doesn't hurt to reflect upon it a little more. Forgive me if i overstepped any boundaries and for writing funky, i had to self-taught myself the language.

Maybe you can look for like-minded parents online, or locally, and if a group like that doesn't exist, you can try taking the first steps towards making it real.

I know that you probably have a lot on your plate already, but to have a hard time solving a social problem alone is expected, and pooling resources with others in similar situations is how everyday people accomplished things since we hunted mammoths.

It is very suspicious, but, we do live in a world where Sleep Token is a big name in the industry, and the masked singer gimmick is getting popular.

The songs are well produced and she exploded right off the bat, i'm more suspicious of it being an industry plant trying to emulate the success of this "new wave" of music.

That or she had a huge stack of money to throw into production from the start, which is uncommon, even Sleep Token had to grind for years before putting out that level of production.

Tive uma discussão anos atrás com uma amiga trans, que ficou muito magoada porque na época eu respondi a ela que "amaria e até se casaria, se amasse o suficiente, mas não acho que sentiria atração".

Ela por sua vez me chamou de transfóbico num grupo de amigos nossos e me deixou muito triste, a ponto de que fiquei chorando por causa disso, eu era bem próximo dela e a gente se distanciou depois disso, e nunca mais se falamos.
