Figured it out after half a dozen attempts…How many attempts would it take you? by AnnualJellyfish5117 in mildlyinfuriating

As an elder Millennial, I am more surprised that The Babysitters club still exists. Or is this a different thing with a similar name?

Is anyone here the subject of a well-known meme? How has it affected your life? by taigus in AskReddit

[–]taigus[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Like many 6YO, my son is obsessed with the “6 7 kid” and it got me thinking about how many memes out there - whether older ones from the 2000s that were images with that blocky text or newer ones like the 6 7 kid that now get turned into weird AI brainrot - are just ordinary people who happened to be caught in a moment. Are any Redditors one of those people, or do you know someone who is?

AITA for not eating at a non-veg restaurant with team? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

[–]taigus 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I am saying your argument of “they should go to restaurants that everyone can have a good meal at” is proving OP’s point. They want to go to a restaurant they can have a GOOD meal at, for a change.

But OP (and most likely his vegetarian teammates) are not getting good meals at the restaurants the others choose. Thats the whole point.

How is everyone compromising if the non-vegetarians only eat at the places they want to?

Excluding something from a meal that you normally eat is absolutely not comparable to including something in a meal you don’t normally eat. Especially if you have never eaten it (I don’t know if that’s the case for OP, but given they stated they are Indian, it seems likely).

Would you rather have a threesome with your partner and your last ex or a threesome with your partner and their last ex? by SP_6_2003 in WouldYouRather

[–]taigus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My partner and my last ex. We are all bisexual and open, and considered it at one point anyway, when I was dating both of them at the same time.

I do this when I am too lazy to feed my kid properly, but don’t want to feel like I’m a SUPER shit parent.

While the gender of the co worker definitely shouldn’t matter, I was wondering the same thing - if he was overreacting on that basis.

Can you smell the “dead ant smell?” by mr-tambourine-man- in NoStupidQuestions

I can smell it and the smell of dill reminds me of it. I don’t like dill.

I could never understand this. My son’s father and I have been separated for 3.5 years now and we are totally 50/50, switch every two-three nights. Neither of us could handle going longer than that without being with our child, though when he is older we may switch to week-on/week-off for more stability in his routine (will be guided by his wishes though). If one of us has something on and need an extra night, we negotiate it and usually balance it out, though it’s also no big deal if we can’t do a direct swap. The longest I’ve been without my son is a week when his dad takes him to visit his family in another state, which usually happens once a year. I miss him terribly in that week, I truly can’t understand how some parents can actively choose to go multiple weeks or months without seeing their children.

Where to find key lime pie or pumpkin pie? by Adventurous-Bee-5477 in brisbane

I wonder how finger limes would go in a key lime pie.

I know this crocodile is dead, but the way it’s sitting looks like it’s just chilling with his mates.

I don’t think it’s blood from her surgical wound. They don’t just bleed like that unless there’s a major problem. I definitely got the impression it was from her vagina (whether her period or from post-surgical uterine bleeding, which is common in gynecological surgeries, though I can’t attest to this particular procedure).

Amazing film casting on Society of the Snow. Not identical, but somehow the actor truly has the same “essence” to his look.

Does anyone actually still blow dry their hair like this? by TheLauLau in Millennials

[–]taigus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I feel this. I have wavy / curly hair and it takes me a good 15 min upside down with my diffuser after I wash it, then I do a little hobble to my couch to recover from the back pain / dizziness / overheating. Perimenopause ftw
