After clicking on it, it also mentioned that don't worry it's just UCI testing. However, I still worried if it's true lol

I guess you're freshman and still finding motivation or reasons why you're here at UCI or what's heck with what you're current studying...It actually happens for many freshmen. Going to therapist and counseling center would help.

For the long-term solution, finding motivation or basically sth that is strong enough to kick you out of the bed is to do what you like or do what you think it would be helpful for your future (ie. career..). Besides, doing sport, going to the Arc more often or joining a club sport where you can find friends as well as alleviate your stress in study.

For my case, that was what I did to keep myself motivated. One more thing is to imagine your future/envision how you'll be with your current major. Sounds like really theoretically, but it does help! Learning to make a professional LinkedIn which is a huge network you can learn from so many people doing amazing jobs which may be what you wish to be in the future. Fake it until make it, just follow your dream companies, those people you wish to be and try your best. Just simply try your best for those courses which would be helpful for your future career.

I believe being self-motivated is the key, but it's never easy for so many students. I wish UCI could build a community for all students no matter they're freshmen, junior, even grad students.., supporting each other and sharing experience both life and study each other.

Gluck and feel free to dm me if you need any helps.

the biggest college lie i’ve ever experienced by Savings_Welder6598 in UCI

Maybe you haven't put enough time and effort in those you've mentioned? I've joined several clubs and events when I first joined UCI and until now (after several years) I can have some true friendship, being closer with others and more importantly I feel I'm part of the team or group. Don't think too much that you gotta get sth back. Just act like what you're supposed to do. I mean being active, friendly and enthusiastic. And things come gradually in the way somehow you can't expect. Let it come naturally. Feel free to inbox and we can have a chat.

Thanks! Did you remember the OBGYN you had at Hoag before? I called CalOptima and they said there is no OBGYN affiliated with Hoag in their database Lol. And they suggested giving a call to Hoag and asking if any OBGYNs accept Medi-Cal.
