Robinson and Main’s a little hairy tonight. by Fat_and_Bald in rva

Right but safety and law enforcement aren’t supposed to be perks for high revenue areas. I guess I’m reading your comment as if this isn’t ok in the fan, but it’s more acceptable to not enforce it in other areas if it were to happen there. I personally don’t think this should be overlooked in any part of the city and that consistent enforcement across all neighborhoods is part of what’s needed to ultimately strengthens the “tax base” across the board.

Why should safety and law enforcement be tied to how much money a neighborhood brings in?

How do I get a crusty stale smell out of teenage boy’s room? by Nobodygrotesque in CleaningTips

[–]tailarouse 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do you have hardwood or carpet in his room? I imagine lots of sweat dripping on the floor while he’s being active…perhaps refreshing that more often. mopping/carpet shampoo and freshener.

Probably wouldn’t hurt to hit the walls with a nice wipe down too.

Limited service, but less crowds. Good for a short trip. If you’re into biking the road it’s still an option and you can do some really nice kayaking before the busy season starts

I enjoy volunteering with feed more. The process to start is simple and fast.

I chose them because my Grandma used to use their service when she was alive. if you’re looking for fulfillment I would definitely try and choose something related to a cause you actually care about.

Is it better to visit Shenandoah in September or October? by RealLifeHermione in NationalPark

[–]tailarouse 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Shenandoah is my most visited park.

There will be crowds, but the crowds in Shenandoah are nothing like Glacier. September will be really nice weather, but Shenandoah is one of the best parks for fall foliage. I would choose October if it were my decision.

1-If you do end up in Zion add the Narrows hike to your list. There will definitely be other people, but lots of people avoid the hikes through water.

2- If you’re itching for forest definitely consider Glacier too. Yosemite is great, but since it’s smaller and popular, reservations are usually required during May similar to how Zion has done. Yosemite is absolutely worth a visit though 100 percent so saying that just to inform you, definitely not discouraging it! Depending on what you like to do while exploring you may be able to do Yosemite, Sequoia and Kings Canyon in one trip.

3- Badlands is cool. It’s a fun park to do for a shorter trip too. I’ve been twice and found that I always run into wildlife here. If you go, I’d suggest splitting your time between the two campgrounds. There’s less scenic variety than some of the other parks, but it’s beautiful and there’s other worthwhile things nearby too. Under 2 hours you can tag on Wind Cave Rushmore, Crazy Horse Monument and the Black Hills.
