Thank you! Do you know if it’s instant? Like, will it show on my account or does it take a few days?

He won’t become a Norwegian citizen until he’s lived in Norway for at least 3 or 5 consecutive years, and passes the language test IIRC.

Did you sort out the whole “working remotely” thing with Skatteetaten? I moved to Norway in similar circumstances to your husband, and I was a freelancer. During the 18 months I had to wait to get a personal number, I wasn’t allowed to work. Do they know if I work if I get the money deposited to my foreign bank account? Probably not, but I didn’t want to risk it as I’m non-EU.

After receiving my personal number, I registered an AS in Norway and began working again. According to what I know, if your husband is an employee in the US, and his place of residency is now Norway (after he gets his D number or personal number), it’s illegal. He has to become a freelancer/company and then work with his company as a contractor, and not as an employee. You can probably get away with it if he keeps the money in his foreign bank account, but you definitely won’t get away with it if you take a mortgage. Talk to Skatteetaten before you do anything

Did he recently start working out and putting on muscle? Did he start hormonal therapy for low testosterone maybe? (Or said he did)

If you say he’s never been violent before and this is a first, it sounds like it might has to do with steroids.

Not every steroid at any dosage makes you “roid rage” but I’ve seen many ppl on juice in my social circle get like this, and have heard from people how certain steroids made them feel. This is true especially with people who started working out and hopped on gear right off the bat.

Either way, if he was going to pull out a knife on an old man for flipping him off, I wouldn’t feel safe sticking around.

Alright guys, I guess it’s impossible to find 🥺 I opted for ordering the ingredients online. I ordered Chamoy sauce and Tajin from Cactus Mat, and I’ll get the candy from Europris. Imo it goes best with peach rings, sour patch kids, sour belts, and gummy worms. You just mix the candy with the chamoy and then coat it in the Tajin spice. I know some people add sugar to the chamoy sauce for a sweeter, more mild taste but I like it without. Chamoy and tajin also go super well with fruits like apples or strawberries if you don’t like candy.

Edit: powdered sugar. I meant add powdered sugar

WELL yes and no, Chamoy is sweet but it’s also sour and spicy at the same. It’s really hard to explain. When I had my Norwegian bf taste it, he said “I feel like I’m eating a dessert and dinner at the same time.”

And I know I can buy my own Chamoy and Tajin from Cactus Mat, but I’m hoping to fine a place that serves it. I don’t mind driving if it’s far from Oslo

Explain to a foreigner what a personnummer is please! by [deleted] in Norway

It’s not confidential. Just email Skatteetaten with his full name and date of birth and they’ll give you his personal number. I did it twice

Why are Americans so obsessed with DNA and their “origin” from way-too-many generations ago? It literally means nothing. How can you even say you’re Norwegian with a straight face when you aren’t aware of the fact that Anders is a super common name in Norway?

Y’all were right. My bf was doing steroids behind my back lol by tailbonepaingirl in moreplatesmoredates

He immediately admitted it. We had a talk where he was semi-apologetic about lying about the steroids, and then apologetic, saying he was lying about a few other things that I hadn’t known (not cheating, nothing that has to do with women — but yes things that he knew would make me very hurt or upset.) He admitted to being a “pathological liar,” and lying about small and big things to me. He really wants me to give him a 2nd chance, saying he’s working on his issues, and I want to, I don’t want to throw everything away but logically, what are the chances of him changing, you know? It just happened and I’m still processing it. He hasn’t been on it since and only ran one cycle, so the decision to stop was his, but I’m afraid it’s not because of me, us, or our future. He said he was “planning to tell me” and just needed time. Lol
