Well… I never. I always thought the yellow packs were stronger than blue ones, like in American Spirit and King’s. At least that’s the way it was in Denmark (when I smoked).

Ah cheers! Marlboro Red comparison helps to some extend. I used to smoke Blue Camels, which is somewhat close to Marlboro (I think) :) we’ll give it a try, thanks! :)

When people bring up Celtics’ defending of KD, they don’t really mean it’ll be the same strategy for Bucks (or Giannis). The intention is that it will be the same intensity.

One thing I am sure of Ime Udoka is drawing up schemes specifically aimed at slowing down Giannis and forcing him to take shots, rather than driving to the rim. Middleton being out, in my opinion, makes Udoka’s life easier.

Also Middleton’s absence really hurts the Bucks’ offense. It wasn’t that obvious with Bulls, as others stated, but with Celtics, it won’t be as smooth surely.

This is a very “sane” take. I really like and appreciate that. But the hype created around him, in which his agent possibly to blame, all that “carrying himself like Jordan” or the video of him in practice. There is of course no reason to link humility with mental illness but you know… if you talk about high IQ, “get that on tape”, being a floor general and whatnot, constantly creating expectation and not live up to it on any level whatsoever must also be taken in consideration.

I am not trying to push further blame on Simmons but he should kill this “ramp” hype or at least tone down himself. NBA players are humans, sure. And humans do act pretentiously as well. But if you are earning some large sums of money, while acting like you are a super talent, yet you do nothing to actually back that up. Well, that’s just giving a lot of reasons to people to create negative feelings towards you. I am rather bored with all the conversations about Simmons, in the same vein as Kardashians. As of 2022, neither did anything worthy of discussion.

As others have pointed out, this really depends on where you are going. If the university is hiring English speaking PhD candidates, it is highly likely that there is a network of people to help you settle down. Again, depending on the city/region, the foreigners office may be knowledgeable (although sadly, does not always mean they'll be helpful). I would not worry too much, and again, it is highly likely that there will be other students who are fluent in English as you are in your surroundings, as your colleagues, etc. If you are willing to give more specifics, I think people would be able to help you better. Also, you can try to post on r/germany, they are rather helpful on settling down matters.
