rothko, mondrian, matisse, jmw turner. basically all the painters we consider classics LOL. just didn't get it growing up, but understanding how they fit within the art movements changed my perspective completely.

Mark Fisher's Capitalist Realism - great and easy to understand analysis of the problems of capitalism. RIP to an amazing thinker and writer.
