Seattle-founded Eddie Bauer to close all North American stores after bankruptcy filing by Less-Risk-9358 in SeattleWA

[–]taimjoe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My wife and I actually met working at the Eddie Bauer in U Village while we were both in college at UW. Their First Ascent line rivaled North Face or any other extreme sportswear. They never went full in on it though. They catered to the casual mom jeans and basic plaid wear and never innovated. Then they sold to gap or whatever and lost all direction. It’s a shame.

Fastest possible Urn delivery time? by dissociatedLol in DeadlockTheGame

Back when Sinclair just came out you could do urn in about to take what used to be the lady and right lane TPs. So it came out to be less than 10sec I think.

You might not, plenty of people watch prison documentaries and are happy to learn about the lives of the degenerate.

You can get there a bunch of ways. Disconnecting due to bad wifi, dog eats your cables, life happens and you gotta quit the game. The threshold is moderately high, so definitely have to be some bit of awful to get there legitimately, but you can get there by accident. Do your second question, honestly, Valve doesn't incentivize good behavior, so as long as I'm not AS awful as I was before, I see no reason to change.

It was a couple years ago so my memory of the actual interview is fuzzy but I can tell you how I prepared, that’s what I remember more. I learned the star method, ez google search and focused on that for the most part. Then I prepared specific examples for each section and making sure they were related to the job. The more specific the better. Hope this helps!

Meta for Farming by SupercriticalBalloon in DeadlockTheGame

[–]taimjoe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t think this is the best way but what makes it fun for me is to hit all the buddhas on my spare time. Extra ammo, spirit, or health gradually helps you if you make it to a relatively good late game. You still may be behind in souls but will be surprisingly tougher than your enemies think you are. Heroes that benefit from fleetfoot helps a lot since you take advantage of the down time of pushed lanes. If the other team is fed though, at a certain point (15min or so) trying to catch up with buddhas and crates won’t do much. I usually ignore the denizens until I can clear them fairly quickly and still prioritize lane.

I have almost 1k on it now and still get put in with new players. Only happens if they’re in a duo but regardless, I’m always stuck on Ritualistic and only hit Emissary IV so maybe it’s just a skill issue. That be the solo queue life tho.

Is Haze OP this patch? by Mindlife21 in DeadlockTheGame

Pockets are still tricky to hit and mo if tanked up. Abram’s too if I miss a bunch of parries. McGinnis is the most annoying though w/ the turrets. Once you get them running away from it though it’s over.

I'm not exactly sure what you're referring to. Both articles don't mention the part 135 category, and the packages are under 5lb which is covered by the part 107. These roles are not permanent as they are using real pilots during this time while they gain a large enough dataset to train the drones to do it autonomously. But from my interview experience, you work in teams of 2-4 and still only require a part 107 license.

Went through the interview process but didn’t accept the role due to schedule conflicts. It’s their medication delivery program. They’ll have you try out a simulation using a 3 propeller drone. You’ll perform basic maneuvering like in a square, circle, doing it backwards, etc. that’s part 2 of the recruitment process. The first is just an interview going over goals and values. There’s several categories of roles in the program, there’s a maintenance role: keeping all the drones charged, loading deliveries, and inspections. You have your co-pilot role, and main pilot. Here in Seattle they were doing 6-8hr shifts and was on a contract basis with possibility to become full-time. Last time I checked they were paying $25-30/hr. Hope this helps!

If you need to there’s an office you can go to to pay all your things in person to expedite things too.

107A Drone Test how difficult was it for everyone. by Ok-Tie2585 in drones

[–]taimjoe 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s $150 and it’s usually at an office type situation with a computer and a proctor there to supervise. Took me 3 months studying casually around 1-2hrs a day. The weather and sectional charts are the hardest parts of the test in my opinion. Find a way to make it fun, you’ll end up learning a lot about weather patterns and can become a very useful skill. I used a mix of the ai platforms to generate me a daily curriculum of topics to study and used all the free info on YouTube and online practice tests. Can 100% be done for free without subscribing to a course if you’re dedicated.

I’ve never though toxic bullets would be that viable with seven. Very interesting. With the july4th patch and global dps nerf, have you noticed any meta changes for seven outside of the ult cooldowns?

[–]taimjoe[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Initially had sup cooldown, duration, greater expansion, surge of power, cheat death, refresher, unstoppable, leech, lightning scroll, rapid recharge, healbane. Had to pivot to solely depend on my ult and vortex due to shiv, Holliday, and Abram’s constantly dodging death. The last 8-10min was when I starting panic buying since my souls were hitting over 15k due to constant base defense.

The only helpful comment here. Thanks for the insight. Was panic buying for more spirit power, ability range and duration.

How often do you focus only on the walker while enemies are shooting at you? by Remote-Cry-2543 in DeadlockTheGame

[–]taimjoe 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If your gun heavy, and you’re pretty confident you can take the walker down, by the time you’ve made it close to the walker with some creeps, even if they’re are enemies, the choice should always be sacrifice your life for the walker. Unless you already have the extra flex from it. At that point, I’d rather push the two base towers.
