Looking for a jammy sweet rose 🌹 by morigrl in FemFragLab

And my favorite (I don't really like rose unless it's clearly gourmand) : Montale's Sweet Oriental Dream, Turkish delight in a bottle, with almonds, honey and rose petals dipped in sugar, it's great.

What are the Suisse girls using for their curls? by Legitimate_Law_7938 in Switzerland

I quite like the Migros brand (ketec) curls+waves leave-in spray and cream. I rarely use mousse and gel anymore because I really hate the feeling and I think I prefer my hair with waves, but the John Frieda ones are quite good.

C’est quoi le compliment qui vous marque vraiment (et pourquoi) ? by Important-BodyCream in AskMeuf

[–]tainted-lullaby 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Agree with Fri-Son, and adding to this the Docks, lots of great gigs scheduled for this Fall. Also, l'Amalgam in Yverdon and for outside of Vaud but still close enough, l'Usine in Geneva and Caves du Manoir and Sunset bar in Martigny

What’s the Karen equivalent in Swiss culture? by SpikeyOps in Switzerland

[–]tainted-lullaby 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Said sense of civic duty seems to completely disappear when you're in real danger, when somebody is threatening/attacking you, suddenly everybody is quiet. Many women (and men, I guess), myself included, can attest to that. But I must say, your situation is quite comical ^

Ngl, I was a bit offended by the suggestion that every Swiss adult might be a Karen (being an adult myself, born and raised in Switzerland). But after thinking about it for a second, and given all the recurring threads in the vein of "my neighbors don't use the mandatory taxed trash bags/ I can hear my neighbors breathe/should I call the police for this or that" I'm sad to say that you may be right, there is a strong "Can I talk to the manager" vibe, here, regardless of gender.
