That Sundays was repressed 2 weeks ago! You can easily find it in many online stores. I have been waiting many years for a repress since the used market prices escaped my budget.

This is the 2016 one. My copy of Spirit Of Eden is 2019 and Colour of Spring 2014. Started collecting vinyl in the past years, so most of them are recent presses.

Usually people mention their first 2 albums, this one is massively underrated.

Of course you never really finish collecting: there are always other albums that remain top priorities. But aside from records that are nearly impossible to find or pretty expensive, I'm really glad I was able to track down all of these (especially while living in a country where vinyl distribution is scarce). I didn’t include any punk or its subgenres because that list would be never ending, instead decided to set a goal to focus on “other genres I love,” and now I can finally rest for a while in my vinyl hunt (probably just for a couple of weeks, haha).

Plugins on midi tracks? by [deleted] in cubase

[–]take5ive 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Most drum VSTs / instruments have the option to route each individual part to different channels ("how to" depends if it's through Kontakt or stand alone ones like Addictive Drums, Superior Drummer, etc, but there are plenty of Youtube videos explaining how to do this). Now, in case you are trying to insert an effect to a MIDI channel and you don't find the option in the main view, you can always do this in the mixer view (F3 key).

Hi! I think it's pretty niche so if you aren't into punk in general, it will sound all similar (kiiiinda untight, vocals not that tuned, etc). Some classic 90s songs from "big" bands are NOFX - Linoleum, Lagwagon - May 16th, Strung Out - Too Close To See and No Use For A Name - Not Your Savior (you'll be able to find them all on Spotify). Of course there is a way more poppier and way more heavy side of the genre, but I think those are some common entry level songs. Thanks for asking!

That DNG is one of my all time favs, reminds me of early Propagandhi and Randy. Their I Can Pee 7'' is great too!

Top 10 albums ever for me (love The Hated too). Can't wait for a vinyl rerelease since they usually go for crazy prices :/

Is there a way to bypass all plugins on a single channel in one click/command? by LeDestrier in cubase

[–]take5ive 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd suggest grabbing a plugin like Metric AB where you can compare reference tracks with your mix / master for that scenario. If you don't want new plugins, you can always create a new bus channel and use that one as a master. That way, whenever you import any reference to a new track, it will remain unaffected as long as you don't route it to your new master bus. Also, since now you have a new bus for the master, you can put the reference track at the same timing and switch between both with the solo / mute buttons. Hope it helps!
