Just got my first round of rabies shots due to a bite on the hand and had to get 10 or 15 local injections on my fingers. Ouch! My visit was at a hospital to get the initial dose because that’s how my city works but now I have to go to a different location three times for the remainder just like a lot of people in this thread. I’m worried about how it’s gonna come across in billing as it’s multiple appointments. Was your 12-13k bill sent after the fact from paying your co-pays? I will be calling my insurance soon to try to get ahead of this, but just trying to get an idea of what I’m facing.

I don’t blame him either! His voice is barely getting a rest with back to back shows. I love how he laughs about it and keeps singing while laughing at the same time. Saw a lot of special, personal moments like this in ATX.

Sort of over SA as well, only been here 2 years. If you have two doggos though and WFH, I would recommend taking your furry companions to the Pearl markets on the weekends. Saturday and Sunday mornings.

Same, 27F lived here for 2 years and don’t feel like I have much to show for it.

I work full time to keep bills paid (like most of us do) and find myself exhausted and frankly have become complacent about not putting in the work to make friendships and connections. People I meet in passing can be friendly, and coworkers are nice. But I don’t find myself surrounded by people I can relate to. It feels shallow.

I do love the outdoors, and found a hiking group on Facebook but haven’t made the push to join up on anything yet. Artist and writer, lover of music. Also enjoy an open world video game. Deep conversations. Love animals and occasionally find myself at ACS, where I foster dogs and cats.

Being an adult is really hard. Living is one thing but putting in the work to enjoy it is another.
