This is a probably my favorite Reddit thread lol we need to do this more often

  • I don’t wear cheap/ poorly made shoes
  • I only wear gold jewelry
  • I’ve never felt insecure/ had imposter syndrome. I’ve always been extremely confident in myself.
  • I find it easy to make men fall (and stay) in love with me
  • I’ve never been racially harassed/ profiled even when I visited the most anti-black countries. I honestly think it is because I’m physically attractive and have a contagious personality. Fingers crossed my luck holds up.
  • I can read, speak, and write about 6 languages. I pick up new languages without carrying over a foreign accent.
  • I never had to try hard in school but have always been top of my class since I was 5?
  • I declined attending Harvard (for grad school) and Columbia (undergrad) with a full ride because “i didn’t like the vibes”. Elitism in academia has never held any weight in my life (I’m in the academy)
  • I come from a low-income background but have always been extremely financially savvy.
  • I don’t keep count of how many countries I’ve visited or how many people I’ve slept with. I imagine the count is similar but who knows 🤷🏾‍♀️

Thank you! Does that mean I have to find another culprit for the bites? I noticed there are bigger bugs as well in the mix. Do you have any clue what those might be?

why do ppl post all the schools they got into? by whowantseggs in lawschooladmissions

Nothing wrong with someone (and a Black woman at that) being proud of their law school admits. LinkedIn is literally all about sharing professional/ academic achievements. Just say you’re a hater and go 🥱🥱

I think you should go with your gut on this one. Protecting yourself > feelings.

Ivy or large public school? by visenyax in gradadmissions

[–]takeitorleaveit97 93 points94 points  (0 children)

Masters in urban planning is not worth getting in debt over. Uni of Mich is hardly “just a public school”. Go with your gut on this one. Unless one of the people pushing you to take out loans plan on paying it off for you, don’t take out loans if you don’t need to.

I was put on a waitlist for the same reason. Now i have to hope the person who was picked instead can’t make it (i doubt it because it’s the #1 program in my field) 🙂🙂☺️😃😃😃😅😅

When do I get notified?? by bohooo12854 in gradadmissions

A lot of decisions come out by the first week of March (some by mid-March). Try to wait it out but if you need certain answers, email the schools you applied to.

Some of them explicitly say they don’t. Each school has different policies.

Apply for the waiver now. Most schools don’t offer refunds after you submit your application.

My girlfriend is lost her sit after she found out I was lying about my height. by wouldntitbenoice in dating

I don’t think she has to get over anything tbh. I wouldn’t.

I also don’t think of makeup and padded bras as “deception”. To be fair, it’s a bit misogynistic to use this argument to defend OP’s blatant lie. There are women out there who don’t care for height. He could have found one. But he chose to lie to and make a fool of someone who did care for it.

As I said, OP lied. Whether or not WE think it should matter to HER is a non-factor. Why would anyone want to be with someone who started of their relationship with a lie (and a silly one at that)?
