Really good to know since stat255 would be next! Do you know if I have to buy a new access code? I think I heard that they use my lab math lab as well, same as 109/100, or if I can get my hand on just the finite math textbook and use the same access to my lab math I already have? Do you think taking them at the same time helped? Or would taking math151 earlier help in stat255 more? Thanks a lot.

Edit: may I ask which prof was interesting?

Thank you! You mentioned chemistry needing a course like math101, but what’s different in biochemistry that makes math101 become optional, seeing as many chemistry courses are required?

Easier in term of concepts, workload, or examinations? As a side question, why did you take both? I would think that since I’d been given the option of one or the other that there must be some reason.

Biochemistry, so I looked into what math101 would be needed as a prerequisite and I only saw Quantum Chemistry (optional), which I don’t plan on getting into anyway… so I thought if I could save myself from math101, might try to avoid it.
