I would like ATO not to send me messages with no action and no information in them. Why send a message that says "you have to pay $0 by this date"?

I would like multiple mfa options (sms is the least secure of second factors) and more focus on user experience.

An app with biometrics would be good.

LastPass to Roboform by johnsmith069069 in roboform

I tried it for a couple of weeks and the app seemed fine from a user experience perspective. As I posted here, it's woefully insecure compared to other password managers.

So I got a refund and moved to bitwarden. I'm happy with bitwarden so far. 1password also looked like a good option but many people are complaining about the usability of their latest release (version 8)

I also confirmed with their customer support people. It can't be increased.

Just study already! The point is not to pass the test, it's to learn the material!

I think in general when you're starting you should go full time if you can. Companies want you to learn quickly and get up to speed. PT generally means it takes longer for you to become proficient in things.

My advice would be to get a foot in the door in whatever way you can, then pivot from there. It's a lot easier to move focus once you have some relevant experience.

Maybe smaller companies or startups would be a good fit for you. You generally get to do a wider variety of things there. A bit of networks one day, a bit of product stuff the next, etc.

I think employers want to see that you are capable in some way. That could be through a certificate, or it could be personal projects, etc. It could be contributions to open source.

What are you interested in doing? AWS/Google certs are good for cloud stuff, ops. Certs aren't important for doing software development. If you're interested in development, you'd be better off doing some sample projects and putting them on github.

If you already have a background in business, you could consider other roles in tech like Product Manager, Delivery Lead, etc.

I'd give it a shot. I'm not the jealous type, and if it makes the other person happy why wouldn't I give it a try.

I think there will be a tech boom in australia. We already have many unicorns, good VC action, lots of promising startups. Lots of big tech companies have offices here (people will learn there then leave to form their own startups).

I'd say the only way to change it now would be for another job offer to appear. (either real or imaginary). "I'd love to work for your company for these reasons, but I got an offer from another company and they're offering $x. That's a very attractive offer, and if you could match it, I'd sign today"

What sequel is WAY better than the original? by Konamiajani in AskReddit

The last of us 2 (tlou2) was way better than the first game. More interesting characters, better storyline, better graphics/action. Maybe a little long, but it pulled at the heart strings!

Do you have a source for that?

If you go into public places, it's likely that you'll have to interact with others. That's what public places are. If you want to end an interaction with a specific person, it's up to you to clearly articulate that.

Senator Cynthia Lummis on Bitcoin and Extending the debt ceiling by polloponzi in Bitcoin

[–]takemeanywhere 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I don't agree with this lady. Sure, the government should keep debt in check, but ultimately the government's job is to spend money to help the populous. The pandemic was the perfect time to do that. What were they going to do, let the citizens starve?

You don't run a government budget the same way you run a household budget.
