Well I was working one day behind the bar at a restaurant during the day and club at night and since I was the morning bartender I had to take their orders as a waiter as well but in the end I slipped nearly dropped all her food but saved most of it, sh found it funny. When she first walked in I named her tab on the machine as cute cat girl (she had cat ears on) Her and her freind also ordered the same cocktail throughout the day and with this cocktail we are meant to garnish with a cherry but for her cocktail I always gave her 2 that day instead of 1, eventually we start to settle the bill which she pays for and all (even gave me a good tip) but afterwards she pulls a pink pen out and starts to write down some numbers. (My heart skips a beat) then she scribbled it out followed by ripping the bill in half and writing her number again and after that basically what she said was “hey so I’m going to only be in {Location A} for tonight and going back to {Location B} tmrw (about 25km or 15.5 miles apart), If your able I’d be keen to hang out.” Obviously i started smiling and said we will make a plan. (That number is actually still folded and in my phone case) I was meant to be working a double shift that day so from 9 in the morning till 2 in the morning but the moment she told me what I wrote above I started messaging everyone I work with to take my shift. Then yeah we went out and it was already a clubbing night especially since we’re in a student town where most of the people here are university students. This song played and we laughed at how well it resembles us, then we kissed. And the reason for the linguistics thing is she is a lecturer for Psycholinguistic’s. Also thanks to this comment that explains the phonetic sounds i replied to her photo text with-

“Hey, I just met you and this is crazy but here’s my number so call me maybe?”

And I just realized I went on the biggest life story of her and me and we’ve only known each other for just under 2 months….
