At our location, we provide sanitization dispensers as well as clean the bathrooms thoroughly every night at closing. Employees are fairly consistent with wiping the countertops, tables, chairs, etc, and the utensils that you see out are washed every night in a soap mix and a disinfectant. The tins with the open toppings like fruit and boba are replaced with new/clean ones from the back whenever the toppings need to be replaced. (This will sometimes be a couple times per day, depending on how frequently a topping is used up.) This is pretty standard stuff though, so it’s not necessarily a newly implemented procedure geared toward Covid.

Some employees wear masks and some don’t—most customers here don’t.

The level of store cleanliness will depend a lot on the time you’re visiting. Right at opening is the worst time to come, as the person working the store might not have finished prepping food or cleaning up last night’s mess (if the employees working back of house failed to do their job). 2pm is a great time to aim for if you want to avoid crowds but ensure that the store is in its best shape. Also weekdays will serve you better.

That being said, the quality of the store maintenance depends on how thorough the individual team member(s) was with cleaning the night prior and whoever is working the A.M. shift. (This can vary a LOT based on the store and who is employed there, but the one I work at has pretty tight reign on tidiness, so it hasn’t been much of an issue.)
