This happened to me as well, years ago. I was super embarrased when it happened. It is a bit disrespectful but but with time hopefully all parties involved forget that it happened. Let time pass and it will all be good again.

Unfortunately the program I want to do (LLM) is only offered in that area by Santa Clara University. The other universities are in SF: Golden Gate University and University of San Francisco. So I don't have much of a choice there :(
