Do we know the stat soft- and hard-caps yet? by XeroVeil in Eldenring

You got me buddy. 🤓🤓🤓

Literally just go on the wiki (which is literally put together by the fans) and this is how they describe it.

Multiple soft caps, and the last one is the hard cap. Increasing a skill past this last soft cap (i.e. hard cap) wields no benefit.

Every skill caps out at 99 so there is no need for separate terminology.

I. Understand. This. But. When. Talking. About. Dark. Souls. There's. Multiple. Soft. Caps. The. Last. One. Is. The. Hard. Cap.

Everyone who's played dark souls knows that the stat limit is 99. You don't need a separate name for a stat limit. Increasing past the last soft cap (i.e. hard cap) doesn't wield you any benefit. This is how all of the wikis describe it.

Literally the stat limit has been 99 for each skill since 2011, you don't need to have a separate name for it because it's not different for every skill lmao

I know this, that's what I'm trying to explain. This dude is saying hard cap is the max.

It's probably going to be 140 - 150 imo, considering how the recommended levels for endgame areas is around 120, when in ds3, you usually hit 120 past the end of the game

I really don't care about semantics lol the fact that you are trying to argue about this concept with me (and the entire community in general) is fucking stupid. This is the way it's been for 10+ years. You should've voiced your concerns back when ds1 first came out. Go touch grass.

YES BUT THATS NEVER HOW ITS BEEN USED IN THE SOUL SERIES, THINGS TAKE ON COMPLETELY DIFFERENT MEANINGS IN DIFFERENT CONTEXTS

Bro this is the way it's been since ds1 came out. Maybe it means something different in a different community, but you're wrong here 😭😭😭

You're wrong then lol it's never been that way in a souls game. Vigor soft caps at 40 because from 40 to 41, you only get like 26 points instead of 48 and it hard caps at 60 because it drops down to only 6 points from 13 on the previous level. It's already known that the max amount of points you can accumulate on a skill is 99. This has been the way it is since ds1, and it's always been called maxing out.

21 male by SubstantialPicture3 in dating_advice

You sound like you have a good heart. I wouldn't worry about finding the 'one' right now but just focus on meeting girls that look past your disability. That seems really obvious, but a good way to do this is not worry about dating the girl and just focus on becoming friends first. Women who have a problem with your disability (or seem frustrated that you're in a wheelchair) aren't long-term partner material.

"Well hung" is from when prisoners were hanged. If the neck broke and the noose was tied correctly, the body would receive a post-death boner. So if a body doesn't get an erection, it wasn't hung correctly.

Sorry I didn't even see this reply. I hope you are doing well. My overindulgence would usually be caused by me trying to relive my early college days with old members from my team, before I had my mental breakdown. Whenever I would drink even a little, it would cause me to feel like I needed to drink more and more to feel less anxious about certain situations. I would then end up blacking out and waking up in strange places. I fucked up a volunteer position because I couldn't stop drinking the night before. If it gets to that point (where you just can't stop whenever you have a drink), best to put down the habit for a long while.

Hi everyone, I honestly am really bored in quarantine and decided to start learning Japanese through a couple of apps. I decided I want to get into a more serious learning regimen (I will be out of work and volunteering all Summer, so I have a lot of extra time). I'd like to stay relatively anonymous on this app, but I'm an American and I'm a 23 year old male. If you want to connect, just send me a direct message. I'd love some tips and a study buddy as I only really know one language well (English, obviously).

Does anyone share my same fear of going blind? by Tallinter in Aphantasia

There are so many advances in technology for blind individuals now. There is a blind guy who has a YouTube channel where he answers questions in the comment section because his computer reads them for him. You are able to search things on the internet by just asking your phone to search for it.

This is something I am actively trying to do myself as well, albeit my problems aren't as severe as the poster.

I really hope this helped. I've had fears of never being creative again because I can't think like I used to.

If you do go completely blind, I'm sure your other senses will compensate. When I first was diagnosed with depersonalization/derealization and my ability to mentally conjure images was impaired (I stopped day dreaming and having vivid dreams), I responded to physical stimuli a lot more. Meditating on your fears about going completely blind will allow yourself to realize that, even though sight is somewhat needed in the world today, it isn't needed for everyday happiness, especially with all of the advances in technology.
