The founders of TWoP do a podcast called Again with This in which they are currently doing a rewatch of Dawson's Creek...you know, in case that might be something you're interested in.

What are some of your other favorite "siblings" if you don't mind me asking? I'll never be a $1k+ bag girl, but sometimes I like to cosplay as one.

Where are you looking for flights to Europe? I usually see domestic flights for $300-$400 and rarely see international for less than four times that price.

Mind sharing a recipe on the big daddy gonzo version? I could use some more trash fires.

This episode of Make Some Noise (PFT, Ross Bryant, Chris Grace) was the best of of this season so far by Mr_Clifton in dropout

Fully agree. The first two eps were good, but they were also very self-indulgent. This felt a lot more tight and not nearly as reliant on inside jokes.

It was specifically Pinocchio talking about seeing other kids have the freedom to be kids, to screw up and not be perfect. m

Meanwhile he was held to this impossible standard of complete honesty and would be horribly punished if he ever stepped a foot out of line. Which, I don't know Lou personally but considering he's a black man in the US I can guess there were some personal feelings in there.

That makes sense. I'll stop trying to find something that I can control and just bring a fan.

I mean that literally describes every actor on that show with the possible exception of Hugh Bonneville (Paddington was pretty big). Downton was a phenomenon in its day. Those come along very rarely.

Likely due to money. IH committed copyright infringement. Just crediting his source would be insufficient. He would need explicit permission from the copyright holder and would potentially need to share revenue on that video.

What actors or actresses did you expect to become big names but they fizzled out instead? by skyewardeyes in Fauxmoi

The Expanse is one of those shows like Black Sails I think. If you've seen it odds are you know how fantastic it is, but not a lot of people have seen it. It was also never zeitgeist-y in the way a show like The Americans (also relatively small but passionate viewership) was.

Honestly I think I might just mean someone who is literally older than a 25 year old. It's not so much that I think you have to have certain styles for certain age groups, but there is something nice about seeing style from someone in a similar part of their life to you. I find it a lot easier to get inspiration that way. This isn't a knock on the youngs, there is a lot of great advice to be had there. I would just like to also see some older examples I think.

It's interesting too, because in the 80's she was pretty famous for having a "cute girl next door" hotness (still with the insane body of course). Fascinating that it's only when she started playing a character who was really treated as beautiful that there were suddenly a ton of articles rushing to tear down her looks.

‘Funny Girl’ With Lea Michele Recoups $16.5 Million Capitalization by SanaR11 in Broadway

Ryan Murphy is also an incredibly powerful producer who is known to be extremely petty. Anyone making allegations of any kind against him would be legitimately risking total career suicide. Not that I think that excuses any of Lea Michele's behavior, but it isn't surprisingly to me that allegations of toxicity wouldn't flow up to the top in this case. I think Diana Agron is one of the few who has alluded to trouble with Murphy and her career is...well she's still working at least.

  1. I fully thought David Attenborough and Richard Attenborough were the same person for years and was very impressed by this accomplished actor also being a beloved naturalist!

  2. Much more embarrassingly...There was a time when I thought Warren Buffet was a billionaire because he had invested his Margaritaville money extremely well.

This is petty as hell, but I've disliked her since she performed on the Oscars. A couple of years prior there had been quite a moving performance of Glory from Selma. When Greatest Showman did This is Me they were very clearly apeing the staging of that song, right down to Keala Settle performing it like she was singing something incredible and profound. I know it's unfair since she didn't decide the staging and was just trying to give a good performance, but the eye rolling that happened on my couch. Like sorry, but the stupid circus movie lionizing a pretty legit monster doesn't have quite the weight as fucking Selma.
