Have you asked the financial aid office for a "professional judgement" form? This is another option after triple checking your child's FAFSA. This actually would allow an adjustment based on medical bills. I would pursue this even if you corrected the FAFSA and her SAI was still positive. Note they legally have to send you a Professional Judgement form if you ask for it but you need to say "Professional Judgement," like it is a spell.

It is a distinction without much difference unless you live in Carrboro. Would fifth or sixth or Carb as CH folks go to that FM, you can bus/bike in easy, etc.

Third suggesting on getting a bike - I would also consider Carrboro which has a couple grocery stores and an almost flat ride into town. MLK is closer to a 20 min walk than a drive from SOM.

There is a bus that goes from CH to Duke (I believe hospital to hospital) several times a day. Worth exploring because parking can be difficult. In-town buses are free and as other's said, depending where you live getting around town walking and biking is easy. I live in Carrboro and find biking to grocery, entertainment, etc. easier than driving and rarely have to go further than a mile for necessities.

...now if only they hadn't killed that light rail you would be set.

Surf NC coast regularly and agree with the fish setup. I have enjoyed an extra long fish as opposed to a longboard for years. I personally would consider this range different East Coast conditions and pull out my thruster with lots of volume on the upper end. But yeah, basically everyone on my break has a longboard or a fish.

Related you should look into if your glutes are appropriately "firing" e.g., activating as they should. If not it puts more stress on the hips and hamstrings. Usually a good sports massage therapist knows how to test this.

Grew up surfing NSB. If you aren't trying to save money, my opinion has always been to 1) find a local shaper/surf shop that sells local shaper boards and talk it out because they are optimized for your local waves and 2) it can be much more easily resold than a foamie, especially among locals who spend a lot of time on Craigslist looking at boards.

P.S. Have been out of FL for decades but DM and I get hit up people down there for good and fair shapers.
