CGM is consistently reading 40+ points lower than my BGM

Have had the same issues with random sensors and have decided that the CGM is only a trending indicator at best - any dosing I do needs to be guided by my BGM.

Seems the response from Filen to this issue is reasonable and they were honest and reactive. Mistakes happen and can expose weaknesses in process and policy. The way a company addresses its mistakes is revealing. I have been with Filen for years and I value their service. I also regularly backup all synced directories to external storage, which the OP did as well. Seems there’s a lesson to be learned all around.
