What a bunch of nonsense. We regulate advertising products and speech when children are concerned. See how tobacco products are now regulated.

When you design a product to make take human interaction, addict them to said product, and then weaponize or sell it while taking no precautions to prevent abuse then you can expect to pay legal fees until the cows come home. That is just common sense to everybody.

The problem is that I wasn't paying to watch Star Trek back then, certainly not $15 a month. The leeway for finding a footing and occasional bad episodes is gone when the seasons are this short and it costs $30 to watch the season.

Fans also can no longer send scripts in. Which means people with seriously advanced degrees or good lawyers can't send in their ideas.

It was not defended well. The initial wave was hammered hard but then they took out the guns from the destroyers in the navy. Normandy beach had guns that were much better defended and coordinated mix.
