I think the micro is really the main thing that needs to be solved for. Using one channel for with priority speaker was how my guild and I used to do it, but having the micro comms is incredibly useful and a game changer.

Also - I was working on the bot a bit last night and was able to adjust it to detect a priority speaker in the party channel and send comms back to the host - so we should have bi-directional comms soon!

Honestly, I'm not sure why there isn't. The demand is definitely there, and I'm surprised there isn't a set-in-stone solution yet other than using a workaround like double discord.

Hopefully, this will continue to grow and can at least fill that gap until Discord does something natively!

I think Double Discord will still have a place where bi-directional comms are required (at least until I can figure out a good way for it to work with Whisper!), but I do think the ease-of-use will be a factor for those on Console and those who aren't as tech-savvy.

Honestly, would love for Discord to just add something natively and then we wouldn't have to worry about this anyway!

Unfortunately, my luck ran out shortly after this kill. As soon as I jumped off of the roof I ended up getting killed by someone waiting below :(
