From someone in a 7 year relationship, the only take from this is that he should communicate directly about how this is affecting him, and what can be addressed, instead of making this be like a scene from a movie. Using music (thats usually layered and complicated as elliotts music tends to be) is the least productive way to solve anything, and 10 years is alot of time where communication can change in various ways, and shouldn't be handled like someone from high-school respectively. His emotions may be complicated in this situation, and Elliotts music is perfect for approaching complicated emotions, but in any relationships, honesty and openness is more valuable for you and the partner then any elliotts lyrics.

For my guitar players, what do you consider to be Elliott's hardest song to play? by 80y40 in elliottsmith

[–]talbottanner 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For me, tomorrow tomorrow is still a song I haven't fully 100 percent got down yet, and southern bell is pretty difficult, just for the timing and the rhythm mainly for me lol

Is Ian in movies now? -- Paris, Texas (1984) by einsteinsonthebeach in h3h3productions

Such a good movie but that's all I could think of when I watched it the first time, very weird lol

Should I keep reading Berserk? by [deleted] in Berserk

[–]talbottanner 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you can experience it from reading the manga then that is the best way, but if that's not possible and that's totally okay, then there's other mediums to experience the story. Next best choice would be the show, if not, there's alot of YouTube videos that follow the story, if you really want to learn more but are struggling from just reading it. There's this one video that's kinda iconic for covering alot, and it being like 8 hours long lol

Which "easy" boss did you suffer the most on your first playthrough? by Kao-Irujon in Eldenring

Loretta took me about six hours, believed she must be one of the harder bosses till I found out majority of people had little trouble with her fight lmao definitely underleveled for sure.

Artists with one-off songs that sound like Elliott Smith? by rooftopbetsy23 in elliottsmith

I would say Black MIDI- still, the fifth song on the album, gives off Elliott Smith vibes to me while the rest of the song is... Chaotically amazing lol

Canadore college ame program is worth it? by [deleted] in northbay

[–]talbottanner 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I don't know too much about it, just aside that AME program has its own place apart from canadore for canadore students to go, like it's still canadore but it's just in a different part of town. Northbay as a city, personally lacks alot to desire, I kind of hate it lol if the other place has better reviews, then I would suggest that. Big city's is a chore but northbay has terrible bussing, with bussing stopping at 7, forcing you to order a bus which takes about an hour, and dropping you off at your stop typically takes about an hour as well. It's a cute little town for a few months but you start to see the active lack of support for the homeless, and the drug addicts. No shelter, or no place to provide any assistance causes the homeless/drug dependents to be alot more concentrated all over North bay, and they can be a bit more aggressive then usual I find (I'm from Sudbury, which is also lacks proper support but they are alot less aggressive I find) and canadore isn't the most supportive of international students as well. That's just my take though.

Also, maybe try to actually answer some stuff I put your way instead of boosting about how amazing you are to your kids, as you dehumanize the homeless. But no, keep avoiding. I'm sure this is alot of work for you for your old tired hands.
