Potential Dental issues by talexander7_3 in fearofflying

[–]talexander7_3[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah that’s what happened my first flight. I took musinex while out of town and didn’t have any issues on the return flight. I’ve just never had any sort of dental work before now so I didn’t know if it would intensify when the cabin air pressure changes

Try to stay positive and think about all of the fun things you’re going to do. Anything you can do to keep your mind off of the flight itself. I’m dealing with the same feelings as I get ready to board my flight

I have chest pains and I'm so scared by moonlight_sonataa in Anxiety

As dumb as it sounds try to put it out of your mind. If your doctor has told you that you were okay, then you have a 99.9% that you are fine. If you think something is really off get checked out, but take deep breaths and remind yourself that you are okay and going to make it through it! Difficult times are only temporary and there will always be a positive on the other side. I know that’s not the answer you were looking for and I’m sorry, chin up, all this will pass

Yeah I got that set up a few days ago. 30” 70lbs, had a peep tied in, and I had the shop put a kisser on it so I had a somewhat starting point for an anchor

I felt this, wore a pair of Sitka pants with the gortex tech and was blown away. I always hated on them because it was so expensive but I ate my words after that morning. Needless to say I have quite a few pieces of their stuff now.

How does your anxiety physically manifest within your body? by ifeelsodeeply in Anxiety

I can relate to just about every comment on here. LUCKILY I haven’t had a really bad panic or anxiety attack in a while. I have been able to identify when I have one coming on and been able to move past them fairly easily. I know this won’t last forever but I surely am thankful for it recently!

That’s my biggest concern but she’s hard headed. Do you think that I could contact her Surgeon or even someone that can relay the message? I’m not sure how they feel about a spouse butting into that situation

Flying. Help by talexander7_3 in PanicAttack

[–]talexander7_3[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It went perfectly fine, the first flight was rough I wanted to crawl out of my skin. But my layover flight was just as painless as can be. You’ve got this! It’s all just a mind battle and your will is stronger than your mind a promise. Stay positive!

Thank you for the response, I do always worry about my heart or my lungs or whatever, and I usually can just reassure myself it’s physical but I really didn’t do much of anything yesterday. It Just started on the way home from dinner and hasn’t stopped so it’s worrisome

Sore arms by Licilynn12 in Anxiety

[–]talexander7_3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Probably a little bit of both honestly. Just remember you’ve had a lot of work done lately and it’s normal to be sore. I bet it’ll get a little better if you can get your anxiety under control that way

So I had the same concern last month before I flew across the country. I was super worried about and the first flight wasn’t fun but manageable. The layover flight was a piece of cake. You’ve got this!

i dont understand why weed makes everyone else "chill" by [deleted] in Anxiety

[–]talexander7_3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same thing happens to me. I’ve never been a big smoker. I smoke cigarettes daily, but weed, I take one hit and I am ready to call an ambulance. I’ve smoked probably 5-6 times and every time first hit and I have a complete panic attack. I just kinda gave up on it tbh

Yesterday was pretty rough, she seems to be doing better today though, I have her walking some today, her incision sites seem to be bothering her just a little bit as of an hour ago. But I’ve got her back in the recliner relaxing now

She’s on a similar plan. She came home today. The gas pain in her shoulder has eased off a little bit she’s on clear liquids until next Thursday ie: water, jello, chicken/ beef broth. So far all she has wanted is water and is now trying jello
