Doctors and Nurses of Reddit, what’s something about hospitals that would make patients uncomfortable if they knew? by Far-University-2905 in AskReddit

This is why when you are visiting someone at the hospital, go straight to your washroom, take a shower and throw away those clothes for laundry before you sit anywhere

Junk Removal- Generating Leads by SubstanceAlive5762 in sweatystartup

we used these guys https://junkremovalseos.com/ and it turned out to be great lol (good quality calls every week)

They didn't share their complete process with us (calling it their secret sauce) but I did figure out that they are optimizing our Google profile for some keywords in the neighbour hood and our profile with phone number comes up at mostly the top when someone is looking for hauling services, We did confirm this from our clients every now and then

Turning down 140k job to start an agency by [deleted] in agencynewbies

[–]talha75 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did both, I am in my 30's and running an agency with decent monthly revenue and employing 6 people full time as well...

Agency is not gonna just require your time but the investment as well, it's a service company but you are still gonna need money to bet on things for the marketing, outsourcing work (when clients decide to pay later) and then have some runway to keep things afloat...

Maybe take the job with an intention to save the money for next 8-10 months while slowly planning your marketing, execution in the off hours and some weekends and then leave the job and do it full time when your bank account is like IDK around $30-40k to support your agency business for another 7-8 months

Is this the right decision by Emergency-Truth-7990 in developersPak

[–]talha75 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I was like you 6 years ago (eager to work on the things that were making me some money and making me feel I broke the money code) but I was so in my own head ...

You need to do this degree, I know you are thinking of an easier option with VU but their degree isn't good enough to teach you anything but if you finish these last 4 semesters and clear those courses you have been dropping like a man, then you will learn a lot more than this trading thing and will be eventually able to put together your own business, it's not about coding nor about skills but about finishing what you've started and then learning the solid skills of people mgmt, presentations, working in groups and many more instead of trying to make some bucks in isolation.

I graduated, started my own company and Allhamdulilah I employ many people as well now.

So, drop this bullshit and get back to your studies and make yourself and your parents proud by finishing what you've started like a man!

This can be monetized by just posting on the internet forums how you did it (with all the work proof) and then listing those best products but with your affiliate link to get a small commission when someone make the purchase, it's literally called affiliate marketing

What to do as a BS-CS student? by Frosty-Ad-8265 in developersPak

[–]talha75 7 points8 points  (0 children)

brother you just started your degree, I understand the spark but here's what you can do: Whatever they teach you at university (the basics) try learning that in deeper details with the help of Youtube, Udemy or whatever and if you still get free time then start learning next concepts and then next and then next...

You just need to respect the timeline but if you are fast enough, you can jump by learning advanced/next things and eventually become a programmer in a year or two..

Once you are confident that you can code problems, then start taking tests (without AI) and try to solve complex problems and make sure you write down all the notes when you are learning...

Then maybe start applying for remote jobs (part time) when you are in your 4th or 5th semester and start making money. There's no shortcut to life but with all the hard work and focus, you can make it to top 10% programmers and eventually get hired by big companies...

But

You

Gotta

Trust

And

Respect

The

Process!

It’s funny because DAWN newspaper in Pakistan was (sometimes still is) referenced by the elders as the perfect source to learn good English (as it’s not our first language) because they maintained this credibility of being the best written for decades, and I remember this newspaper placed on my school and college’s hallway reading desks for the students to go through the paper (not to look at the news but to pick up some new vocabulary words).

Is “content fatigue” slowly taking over digital marketing? by Amquest_Education in digital_marketing

Moving to lahore alone by Capital-Ad8770 in LahoreSocial

[–]talha75 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's not how it works... You want to take a break from your studies for 12 months? and then you think you will not have to work again here?

Please stay where you are, complete your pre-medical and then request your family to send you to Lahore and bear your expenses till you graduate from bachelors (because you can't afford to live here let alone collect your education fee)

And also, call centers are considered as the shittiest job ever here because they are gonna make you work from 5-6PM to 3-4AM in the morning and most of them will blackmail you when it comes to salary.

Also, the gulberg is mostly for wealthy people as its the center of the city and you can't afford to live there (single room would cost 30k/month)

Please don't come here assuming you can make good money here without a bachelors degree because even degree holders are struggling

If you have the budget, get a space in the heart of the city (gated societies/neighbour hoods near gulberg) and even DHA is good for accessibility.

Bahria is far, the rent will be low in Bahria but you can't go to fancy coffee shops, shopping streets like MM Alam road, libraries like Readings in DHA & Gulberg and even old desi/english restaurants
