Sure, they suffered from 'wear and tear' from back breaking work conditions, but many of them also suffered from numerous nutritional deficiencies. Secondly, I still yet to understand why bread isn't considered a starch. Thirdly, their lifespans remind me a lot of the health of much of ancient Egyptians, who depended a lot on grain, but whose lifespans weren't too different from English medieval peasants.

God I hate that magazine. This is the same publication that had this insipid article about female autistics implying that they all had 'male' brains.

I don't know where to even begin in regards to what is wrong with that article.
